Early days, we'll be ok when (if) our injury crisis abates.

Looks like Pepe will be sitting out Thursday's game. Good riddance.

Arsenal are essentially Barca-lite so he should fit in well at the Camp Nou, I'm surprised they sold him after letting RvP go though as they were arguably their best two players last year.

Let's hope they sell us Walcott and Villa pay a silly amount for Carroll. Feel really sorry for him but don't want him back at Newcastle cut price that will just piss me off!

I'm not even sure what's going on at Arsenal. They're becoming a feeder club. They haven't made any big moves, yet they're selling all of their players.

They've brought in Podolski and Giroud to replace RvP but they're nowhere near the same quality. They also signed Santi Cazorla, who was one of the best players in La Liga outside the top 2 clubs, and are getting Sahin on loan from Real Madrid. He was fantastic at Dortmund a couple of years ago but got hit with a major injury last season. If he re-finds his form he'll do well. Can't see where their goals are coming from though.

City's strike-force would be ridiculous if they signed Cavani on top of Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko and Balotelli. How do you keep them all happy? Impossible.

Very much doubt Villa are gona buy Carroll and we deffo won't be paying stupid amounts for him. I think he is more likely to go West Ham or stay at Liverpool myself but who knows

Some great goals last night. Always love to see Ronnie scoring in the big games.
Valdes, though....yikes. Fancy Madrid to nick it at the Bernabeu! |

I can't believe he did that. It wasn't even close until that happened.

Sluggish start against Osasuna. Not too happy with the results so far.

Rooney out for two months.
Long as RvP keeps it up, I'm good. |

Losing Rooney for an extended period of time was my worst fear over the last few years but yeah, RvP should fill his shoes easily. As long as he doesn't get injured too...

I have to say, that was one of the more disappointing outings for the club. They didn't exactly show much strength offensively; at times they looked downright anemic. Where the **** was Villa and Fabregas? FCB seemed completely disorganized today.
Today will be forgiven, however, if we win La Liga and the Champions League. It's a bit of a pipe dream right now with the way they're playing, but I can certainly hope. |

It was a good game, for once an El Clasico that lived up to its billing.
Did you notice that Messi and Ronaldo didn't shake hands with one another? Their rivalry is definitely hotting up, which can only be good for La Liga and football in general. |

Haha, a bizarre day for you guys for sure. I think they were so insistent on not getting shafted price-wise, like they did with the Carroll deal, that they missed out on every target.
Still, Sahin is top 4 material and Raheem Sterling looks ready. |

Ronaldo is apparently deeply unhappy at Madrid.
Come home, Ronnie. We'll take care of you.

He's stepping over the sharp blades of grass.
So, if it's not about money, then what? |
