Its time for the....(4th? 5th? 6th? I'm not sure) annual ComingSoon fantasy football league!

After several years of doing a lot of hard work for no money while constantly putting up with a bunch of people's BS about stupid crap, Tornado for some reason decided to step down as Commissioner and has passed the baton to me, bbf2.

You might recognize me as the Marv Levy of the league, I've finished in second place three years in a row. My goal for this year is to finish in second place for a fourth year in a row to complete the early 90's Buffalo Bills story, which is arguably more impressive than winning the Super Bowl one single time.

Anyway, right now I have the rules to be set in the same way that they were last year...with one exception, I think it would be best to use fractional scoring (so you get .1 points for every rushing/receiving yard instead of 1 point for every ten rushing yards, meaning that if you finish with 99 rushing/receiving yards you get 9.9 points instead of just 9, which I think is a lot more indicative and accurate). If someone disagrees with that change for any reason let me know, but I personally don't see any reason not to go with that style of scoring. It also basically eliminates the need for tie-breakers, but in the case of a tie (which is basically a one in a million chance with fractional scoring) we'll go with the previously established rule of highest scoring bench player.

Right now I have the draft set for Sunday August 27th at 3pm EST, but that can easily be changed based on people's schedules. I think that's a pretty ideal time, however.

First priority will go to the 11 other people who were in the league last year.
Those 11 people have until noon EST on Friday, August 10th to send me an e-mail stating their interest and accept my invitation, at which point it will be open for all.

If you were NOT in the league last year but would like to join, send me an e-mail ASAP and you will be first on the waiting list, and if there are any people from last year who have not responded by August 10th you will be added on a first come first serve basis, so go ahead and send now.

I said in the OP that the people who were in it last year have until noon today (Friday) to reclaim their spots, at which point I'll invite new people based on the order they sent me their requests. Quite a few people from last year haven't responded yet so I can 99.99% guarantee that you, Chewy, and Justin should be solid and I'll send the invites tomorrow.

Well, I didn't get exactly who I wanted in the draft, but I can work with it. Justin and bbf2 did the best by far. Next time we shouldn't do the draft so last minute. Diablo didn't even show up!

The 27th is a Monday btw. If its Sunday the 26th, I'll have to autopick cause I take my son home by 6 & It's a 4 & half hour drive. I'm cool with auto

I meant to say the 26th, sorry. Obviously Sundays are preferable to Mondays.

We technically have each spot filled but Tornado and Brock haven't accepted their invites yet. I'm going to give them a couple more days to respond and if one of them hasn't I'll let you in.
