I don't see how a head coach can poke another in the eye and get away with it. And Marcelo, who is practically an animal on the field, sees no repercussions either. This isn't new to him. It's recurrent and dangerous. La Liga needs to get its act together and stop trying to just please the two big clubs at the expense of doing whats right.

He's got the potential to be great but what we really need right now is a proven centre midfielder, not another attacking mid, one of which we've just bought in the shape of Kagawa. With Park having been sold and Fletcher, arguably our best CM, being forced into early retirement, that area of the squad is in serious need of bolstering.
If he can play in a midfield two though and do the necessary defensive duties I wouldn't complain. I kept an eye on him during the Euros because of our supposed interest but he didn't have a great tournament at all. For me, out of all the players we're linked with at the moment, Lucas Moura seems the most exciting. The figures that are being talked about seem pretty excessive for a 19 year old, though. |
