Dumervil not being charged for Miami incident. Whew - dodged a bullet. We need him. This year is going to be a tough fight through many tough teams and we need all the pieces we can get. We already will miss D.J. Williams for at least six games, don't need anyone else to drop off the active roster.

If memory serves me me and you were 1st and second for a long time until teams messed up my picks. I am not going to change how i pick games however.
I do however wonder when Manning Plays will Harrison end his career with one pop. If Harrison hammerS manning and he pops back up then the Broncos has a good deal for a QB. |

At this point, if people keep thinking he's that fragile then they really haven't read any of the medical reports saying that's not the case. If anything it will be loss of sensitivity and zip rather than a one shot hit that causes problems.

I don't think he is as fragile as people are saying. But I don't see him lasting more than two years.

I would like to see Peyton get one more ring and then retire on top again.

Apparently no QB in history has won a ring with 2 different teams (or so ESPN says - haven't verified). Kurt Warner was close, but just missed it on the final drive by the Steelers. Would be nice to see Manning get another ring.

And he gets to meet Mario Wiliams, probably a couple of times.

As a starting QB, yes, but some have won with different teams as backups. Earl Morrall for example won the Super Bowl with the Baltimore Colts (where he actually played a chunk of the game despite not starting) and with the Dolphins (which he didn't get into the game for, except possibly holding the ball for PATs)

RG3 Has Cam speed so he is gonna be a night mare to get down but unfortunately he has rookie hands and likel will fumble the rock now and then.
How about we do the Pick Em game stuff on here. I'll do the tallies unless everyone wants to do it like last year. |

OK, showing tonight. Manning looked pretty solid and the INT was a dropped catch by Stokely so not much to worry about. Manning only played one series, so it wasn't much to really go by, but I liked what I saw when he played. Preseason is so... anticlimactic. It teases you for a full month before you can really get excited for a game.

Agreed. From the clips I watched, he looked liked vintage, creative, badass Peyton Manning to me. He was 4-7 with 44 yards, and that dropped pass would've put them close to the goal line.

I wonder if they will hire the female Ref when the strike is over. Because she seemed the most competent ref of the scabs

I just don't think Fritzpatrick is the QB answer for The Bills. I don't see the Bills beating NE or The Jets in that division. I would love to see a great Bills run and them win a superbowl. Its just I don't think they have the Right QB to do it.

They don't. He is too inconsistent. He is ok as a stop gap player, but they need someone better, and it annoys me that they aren't grooming anyone at the moment.
And I am thinking the jests won't have a good season. But of course, new England will dominate. |
