Yeah Bales Batman wasn't all that impressive in TDK, but he was great in TDKR, so i forgive him for TDKs shortcomings.

Those adjusted numbers aren't going to be completely accurate because the modern average ticket price is inflated by 3D tickets, which aren't an issue with these Batman movies.

Not every film gets a 3D release. But every film does get a 2D release. So, there is an average ticket price for 2D. As there is for 3D. Adjusting for inflation is done by multiplying the ticket sales with the average price. So, as long as you have the average for 2D you can still adjust properly.

Apparently I didn't post any review on this -funny, I remember typing it. Must have been sidetracked and didn't hit post. Anyways, here's the short and skinny of it:

This was an overly drawn out movie that should have been condensed and was extremely slow. Bane's death at the end of the movie was absolutely stupid. Anne pops through the door and shoots him with a rocket? WTF? And call me crazy, but if I'm fighting some tough villain and I see that he has an overly zealous retainer in, I'm probably going to use that to my advantage and pull on it, punch it, kick it, what have you. But apparently Bruce Wayne isn't smart enough to exploit his enemy's weakness until AFTER he basically gets his butt kicked the first time. Really???

Anne Hathaway was hot... and there were times that the action was good - in between the extremely LONG over drawn out parts of the movie. The ending was very annoying and felt like it made no sense at all really. Bane is supposed to be this criminal mastermind, yet we find out that he's really not the head villain so to speak, he's only head henchman #1??? OK...

This movie was not inspiring, not exciting and not something I'd really care to see again without a fast forward button. The story was weak and had way too many holes for something that was supposed to be so well polished.
