So, my literary hiatus is over: The New Novel by Jackson Williams (my novelist pseudonym) is officially underway. I've been working at a 5000 words a day pace for about two weeks now, and I'm shocked at the material. I feel absolutely ecstatic about the work I'm doing right now. I have returned.

I'm still trying to get my writing groove back as well. I have this amazing story that I came up with several years back. Created all of the characters, created a path and even timeline from where they'd start and where they'd finish, and even wrote the prologue and two chapters before coming down with the worst case of writer's block. I'm slowly getting myself back into it again, but I really need to find that inspiration that gets me going full-time.

Went to a great ballgame today. On the way back to my sister's apartment I saw a Brewer pitcher walking his dog. Then on the drive back to Madison I got pulled over for speeding and was given only a warning. He also wanted to know who won the Brewer game. All in all, a full day.

Same here. I had this amazing story I started work on before I lost my creative edge and just saved it to a flashdrive and put it away.

I used to find when I stopped writing in the middle of one thing I couldn't go back. Either I'd think it was to corny or I'd have new ideas for new storys to start.

I read a good quote a few years back about it but I forget it now. Basically I paraphased in my last post.
