Mh. Back in 2006 I loved SR. Then I kept watching it and kept loving it. I eman, sure I hated so many Donner references and Luthor being so corny, but overall I liked it.

I saw it many many times but the last time was years ago. Maybe 2008 or 09. All I've done since is reading bad criticism from people on the net so I'm, not really sure what could happen the enxt time I sit down and see it.

Greenberg was one I completely flipped on. At first I really hated it, then after a week or so it just clicked for me. It stuck with me ever since. Now it's one of my favorite films of the past few years.

Equilibrium. I hated it when I first saw it. Thought it was too Orwellian. For some reason, now i love it. Can't figure out why. I think it has something to do with how Kurt Wimmer made the most out of a relatively modest budget. Of course, the cult success of Equilibrium ultimately spawned that awful poop-fest that was Ultraviolet.

I think it's pretty funny how most people love Equilibrium or absolutely hate it.

I don't think I've ever done a total 180 on a movie as an adult, usually they apply to ones that I've carried over as a kid/pre-teen. I hated Pulp Fiction when I first saw it at 13 but then grew to appreciate it, and I remember being on these boards when I first saw The Patriot around the same time complaining how it wasn't nominated for Best Picture. I watched it again on tv a couple years ago...ouch.

I did not say it was a great movie. It is just one of those movies that if i am flipping through the channels and it is on, I will stop and watch it... every time. I do the same with Shawshank Redemption. And no, I am not putting those two movies in the same category. Unless "Movies I will always stop on and watch" is a category. Then yes. Yes I am.

Doesn't do a lot for me. It really doesn't, maybe the technology made by humans in the movie, that is awesome. The creature effects, meh.

Days like this make me think I'm the only one who still likes Sin City.

Come on dude, the creature effects are incredible. Regardless of your feelings on the film, the CGI on the Na'vi is groundbreaking. And this isn't something that comes down to opinion either. It's not like criticizing character or story where personal feelings will factor into it. Incredible CGI is incredible CGI, no way around it.

The Core kicked ass when I was 10-11 but I watched it recently and it's a garbage sandwich.
Hulk is a film that left me sour in theaters but I've come to appreciate. Effects are dated, but I like what Ang lee did with it.
I loved Crash the first time I saw it. I watched it years later and noticed how nothing feels natural in it and every conversation is just racism bull****. I still like the father/daughter storyline though.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is one that bored me in theaters but I've found an appreciation for recently. After seeing how bad the 4th one was, I came to respect what GV was able to do with what was once simply a Disneyland Attraction.
The Happening: Used to hate it. Now I love how bad it is.
The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones: I was a ****ing kid. Leave me alone.

I would be on your side, but last time I saw the movie was Christmas 2005 when I got the DVD. I loved it in theaters. I enjoyed it at home. But it has been 7 years. So, I will definitely need to re-watch it.

Yeah, I haven't seen Sin City in awhile, but I doubt that my feelings will have changed much. Everything was solid in it.
