That's not too crazy really. If you're a big fan of the series--which I assume you are--then I doubt it'll be a waste. If I had the money, I'd do it.

**** all of you!
Ebooks are quality. I don't carry my iPad everywhere with me so the fact I can be reading a book at home on the iPad bookmark a page, Go get the bus to work and open iBooks On my iPhone which will take me automatically to the page I bookmarked on the iPad and read a chapter to kill off an uninspiring public trAnsport journey is beyond genius! |

yea you are doing it wrong. anything other than e-ink is useless and detrimental to your eye sight. sure go ahead and say 'i feel fine' but science says different.
e ink is the only way to go with e books, ipads and iphones are just foolish to read on.

I think secretly, we all want to let others know what we are reading. That's what we hate e-books.

It took me awhile, but I've finished Watership Down by Richard Adams. I did not expect myself to like this book as much as I did. I'm not usually a fan of talking animals, but this one was definitely the best out of the ones that I've read. I picked the book off a shelf because I felt like buying something, and what a wonderful buy indeed! I love the style of writing, the pacing was great, and, dare I say, ACTION-PACKED? I never knew that a story about rabbits could be this exciting.
Anyway, I'm moving on to Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke.

Woah, the Olympics are going to cut into my book listening time - and my current book (Geo.Washington's bio) is 41 hrs and 57 mins long.
(That's like a week at a regular job with overtime )

Just had a rather intense debate with a colleague about the validity of 50 Shades of Grey. Apparently, I have to have read the books in order to hate on it. I hate it when defenders pull that card, because it's stupid. Besides, I don't think a person who often claims that she doesn't like/read books knows anything about what makes a good book good.

It's not that bad... Just nothing makes sense right now... I don't see how everything is suppose to come together... I'm hoping by the end there is a reason for such time lapses!!

I'm slow on the Arthur C. Clarke bandwagon, but I really love his writing style. It's simple, to-the-point, without fluff. I've just added Childhood's End to my wishlist. Not that I have read the book but, from what I know, the stories seem to be related via themes rather than plot.
