Default Avatar Chronology Jump

Just want to give my idea of how what they should do with the next Avatar film. I think the best thing they can do is to jump like, 100 year into the future from the original film and simply make the planet of Pandora the constant through the series.

I don't think anyone particularly cares about the future of Sam Worthington's character, etc. I think they could really switch things up, hell they could set it on the other side of the planet that we didn't necessarily see before.

Oh and, FIRST!!!!

That's a pretty damn good idea. Especially if within that 100 years, Pandora has drastically changed some how.

Good idea, but you know it'll never happen. Worthington will be in it. Any movie that makes this much money is inherently going to be as similar as possible to the first one.

I don't know, I mean, if James Cameron were dedicated to doing something like this who's going to say no to him?

True, I think it will take place on a different side of Pandora, but I'm willing to bet Worthington and everyone will be in it.

Drac makes a pretty cool plot concept, regardless of if it'll happen or not. I like the idea of seeing what Pandora will look like in a hundred years, and I'd like to see what kind of shape it'd be in too. Maybe seeing how Jake prepared them for a future showdown with the humans (who will no doubt return seeing as how we don't like losing).

As great as Terminator 2 is, was it that different from the first one?

Arnold Schwarzenegger was a good guy...

And with Aliens he went so far as to change the genre of the series.

I bet Arnold ends up in The Sequel since likely be acting again. But I think they need to work on the script for the effects are there. They just need work on a better story in my view.
Sure was an amazing film effects wise but story seemed familure and yet missing something.
They should have Humans returning in greater force and they have to team up with one of the other Moons races to save Pandora.
The running theme should be man is the villains still except for a select few.

Well it turned the franchise from horror/slasher to action. Plus, it didn't really need to change. Sarah Connor was a really cool character and the rest of her story was really interesting.

Worthington should be in the film but not as the main character.

I'd rather see him take a full blown role in The Expendables 2

I always thought it'd be epic to see Sly and Arnie's teams battle for a contract.

Well Cameron and Arnie are buddies and a cameo is likely for they been wanting to reconnect for a long time.

My hope is with the money from the first and an assured franchise they work on the acting and stories more. I mean Terminator 1 is my example or Alien 1 both were good but people liked Aliens and T2 more. So they have chance to make a good ok film into a better great film.
