I've got a few new titles coming in. When they arrive and their sitting pretty on the shelf, I'll post a new picture.

Yeah occasionally. I'm pretty choosy with Blu-ray, but there have been instances where I've purchased a disc, watched it, and decided I didn't want to keep it and sold it off on eBay or Amazon. DVD however is a different story. Before I upgraded, I almost never sold DVD's. I didn't see the point I guess, I was content just owning whatever I bought. And that's probably why my collection was able to balloon to what it did. I don't remember the exact number, but before I went Blu I must have had... at least 550 or 600 DVD's.

Now though I sell DVD's off every other week or so it seems, either to upgrade the movie to Blu-ray or to sell off a handful so I can pick up something new. Despite owning 150 Blu-ray's, I actually haven't paid out of pocket for more than maybe 30 of them. The rest were gifts or bought from money made selling off DVD's.

What about you?

Yeah I have, mostly when I realize that the movie isn't nearly as good as I once thought it was. I remember High Noon was one I just got rid of all together. Right now I've got The Italian Job and War of the World son the chopping block. I don't know that I like them as much as I did.

The original War of the Worlds or the Tom Cruise remake? I sold off the remake when I went Blu (not one I upgraded, just got rid of it), so I don't blame you there. Never owned the original.

LOL. My thoughts exactly. There's so much questionable stuff on those shelves.

Yeah. Nothing personal Sculder, but you either have the broadest taste in film of anybody here, or you're a frequent buyer from the Walmart $5 bin.

"Mutant Chronicles"? I can't even begin to fathom how ridiculous that must be.

Most likely if the DVD or BR is "questionable" I have got it for free

Yes I have a broad taste in film. I like what I like and don`t give a f*** what others think. Im not ashamed to admit liking some "questionable" stuff.

Thankfully I don`t live in the US so no Walmart for me

I used to love getting movies from the $5 bin at Wal-Mart, but now they don't have anything good.

I didn't mean for it come off as offensive, I wish I had the resources to have a larger collection myself. I'd love to have more variety.

When I get my room back in order, I'll definitely be posting pics of my collection.

After about a year of putting it off, I am finally posting pics of my collection. I wanted to wait until I got my room painted and rearranged. My DVDs have also been boxed up because of me wanting to fix up my room and it took me awhile because I am a huge procrastinator, but last weekend I finally did it and now I can proudly post pics.

Whole collection:

Front view of the main shelf for the movies:

Temporary shelf for the TV shows and Wrestling DVDs:

Blu-Ray and HD-DVD Boxsets:

Boxsets (1/3)

Boxsets (2/3)

Boxsets (3/3)

Whenever I get a newer shelf for the TV and Wrestling DVDs, I'll post more pics of the movies so you can see all of what I have.

You know what would be cool? If somebody with a collection that big arranged them all so that they were colour-coordinated, and their shelf went from black, through the spectrum, to white on the other side.

Be cool to me, anyway....
