People should have listen to or watched Shannon and Sterling Sharp biography to really remind people what coming from nothing is. I least had running water and always ate. I think buisness managers and agents steal these players blind and these people don't tell the player how much they really have till there broke.

If i was a Player believe me I'd handle my own fianances and Buisness. I mean how hard is it to call and talk to a team on your own. I mean its your own body your selling. I mean do people really need agents to sell a persons body that they don't own.

You don't need an agent to sell yourself, but you need an agent to handle your business. That would be like going to court and defending yourself for a murder trial. You need an agent/lawyer unto handle contracts. Even the smartest nfl players can't do it themsrlves. You can't tackle such a huge legal matter without a lawyer.

Normally that wouldn't be that big of a deal, but there isn't much time left. And he lost his leverage when he signed that tender

The worst part about this offseason has easily been all the filler articles on the Saint's scandal. I'm so sick of hearing about who's appearling what and demanding this or that. I honestly couldn't care less anymore - just be suspended already and stfu. I don't even care if they are/aren't guilty, I just don't want to hear about it anymore.

Does anyone else think Vilma never had a leg to stand on here. I mean in sports the Commish word is law. Why bring the courts in this. I mean this was a sports matter and Goodell handled it sports wise.

Can't wait for the saints thing to finally die as well. The saints are getting more coverage than Tebow. Tebow! I would never have thought the sports media could have over killed a topic I couldn't care less about than Tebow, then this happened

Tebow was atleast entertaining with the game winning drives. You had fans who wanted to see him pull off the magic again and for fans to see him fail, I say that was entertaining. The Saints thing is not entertaining at all, just boring news coverage and the NFL getting hype over something teams back in the 70s did.

Drew Brees got a pretty nice contract today.

By the way, I'm a Giants fan.

I like Drew Brees and all but I am not sure he should get Manning or Brady money just yet. Nor should Rodgers. Manning and Brady earned there money over many many seasons.
But then Again Drew I think is 3rd best QB behind those 2.

Drew has been around long enough to get this contract. This is probably his last contract. Anything after this will just be a one or two year deal. This is his moment for the big contract

I thought the new rookie scale was suppose to help rookies get into camp and get their contracts signed fast? Both Luck and Griffin still have no contracts with camp right around the corner.

Yeah, the top 8 picks I think haven't signed. Something about the "language". Hey, bills got all their guys in though!

Elvis Dumervil arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm.... NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF??

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/81...ce-report-says

And to make matters worse - the idiot has the nerve to tell police that he doesn't have a firearm in the vehicle while he's being arrested, yet they find one in the glove box. What the hell could he possibly be thinking, "I bet they won't check in there"?!?! Damnit!!!!!!!!

Just crazy. Off the field stuff is worse than last season with the lockout. These things are just piling up.

Does anyone else think Forte got still a cheap deal from the Bears. I mean 8 Million a year is not what Peterson and The running back from the Titans make. I think Forte looks like the best Back win healthy in the league.

Well Forte is not Peterson, and the Titans overpaid CJ2K. I'm just happy we were able to sign Forte and this debacle didn't stretch into the season.

I think the NFL needs to draft players base on Character over talent. There are plenty of good players who have talent that don't embarrass a team. Teams need to test better these players because all you get is a suspended player and no money.

Ray Rice got paid. I'm glad most of the money is upfront.
