I am not that impressed with Dwight Howard. He last year was not too impressive to me.And all NBA players want a championship. I don't care where your playing. If don't want a Ring then why are you playing is my belief.

What leads you to believe Howard doesn't want to win a championship?

Maybe because he wants to leave Orlando to go to a team worst than the team that he is on in Brookyln. I mean Shaq left a good Olando team to go to the Lakers but they was also a playoff team at the time as Orlando was. Brookyln is not a playoff team at all.

Highly debatable there, Howard wants to leave Orlando because his supporting cast is lackluster. In Brooklyn POTENTIALLY he could have Derron Williams and Gerald Wallace both of whom are vastly better than anyone in Orlando. I don't like the guy's attitude surrounding the trade, and I've always disliked players whining their way off teams, but I don't doubt his desire to win.

And Rockets just made ANOTHER trade to secure the 12th pick in a trade with Milwaukee. They are pushing really hard.

^ Stephan A. Smith said the samething on ESPN First Take multiple times. He wants to go play somewhere that he can be the star of the team. If he goes to Brookyln and Deron Williams stays, since D-Will came before Howard, it will be Williams team not Howard, so Howard will be second fiddle. Plus Howard sees himself as an entertainer so playing in NYC will get him alot of media hype which can get him acting gigs and stuff like that. Think the man does care more about being a celebrity/entertainer than winning a title.
Most likely Williams will leave and go to Dallas to play in his hometown. Kidd is old and Williams is younger and a better player. Plus Williams would have a better chance of winning in Dallas than Brookyln. No guarantee Howard is even coming to Brookyln so why would Williams stay? Plus even if Howard comes the Nets would be a playoff team but with only 3 good players how far would they go before they get put out? Miami will be good for a few more years, Bulls can dominate for the next 10 years if they can get there **** right and you have Indiana coming up. 3 players alone cannot win a team a title, even the Heat had to play team ball to win a title despite having 3 superstars. Williams would have better role players in Dallas and a shot at going farther with the Mavs than Brookyln. |

Skip Bayless of First Take thinks he will stay in Orlando because he thinks he likes being the big fish does howard in a small pond.
I have listen to Steven A Smith and I can stand Skip longer then Steven A. The biggest 2 faced Basketball and Football expert. He ripped Lebron and now he is kissing his feet. Anyways I myself think Dwight will go to Houston because that place has been a big mans great legacy in the NBA. Is anyone else gonna watch the NBA draft tomarrow. |

dwight was never going to houston. now i am just wondering what exactly they are gonna do.
gasol would not be worth it. ship lowry and get a top 10 pick if you really want to, and if he won't play with mchale, might as well get something for him. pull an okc, build now. i really want waiters. dudes gonna be a stud on a bad team.

Cleveland is rumored to wanting him at 4.
IDK how much I can trust all these reports though. They are all over the place.

i feel like mkg is a sure thing for the wings, barnes and beal both are projects that will need more than a few years to become productive. mkg can guard and drive right now.
waiters going in the top 5 would be a stretch if you ask me, but stranger things have happened. gonna be a wild night, can't wait.

I would not be surpised if Brooklyn didn't get Howard they would try for Bynum from the Lakers. First Take says Beal could go to The Thunder in some trade.

It's a tough call lol. I'd be happy with either Beal or MKG at this point.

Why are the Lakers trying to get rid of Gasol? All they need is a few good role players and they are back to title contention. If I was them I keep Gasol, keep Bynum and try to bring in Deron Williams. You have a few good role players that are free agents like Jamal Crawford, Jr Smith and Jason Terry the Lakers can get aswell. They should try and bring back Lamar Odom and Derek Fisher to the team.

rivers is a love him or hate him guy, i hate him, but some gm's love him and might take him in the top 15. i think that is an insane reach.
my sleepers in the second and late first would be green from msu, dude reminds me of kevin love with somehow worse defense. and stoglin from maryland is a great scoring guard and experienced. hoping mkg falls to the rockets at 5 when they get the sacto pick here before the night is over. i'd take drummond though too, mchale is a big man coach. 30% from the free throw line is atrocious though. trying to miss at that point.

well keeping the picks isn't terrible i guess... still need a point guard... but other than teague there was nobody worth taking.
really like the lamb pick up, and jones is a great role player that could develop into something special, not sure how much i like royce white though. good player but no idea what his position will be/is.

I like Kendall Marshall and am glad we were able to snag him as he is a player I had my eye on. With Nash probably leaving and us having traded Dragic earlier (I still think he would have been a worthy successor to Nash based on his play in Phoenix), we were in desperate need of a point guard to step up and fill that role. Now with Marshall, Dudley, Markieff, and Gortat, we have a very young core that can grow and develop together.
Unfortunately, with those four players as our likely starters at their positions this coming season, we're also looking at being one of the worst teams in the league simply due to a lack of experience (if not the fact that none of them will be a consistent scoring option). We have got to make a splash in free agency. I have never really been much of a Ray Allen fan, but man I would kill to have him on the team this year just to give us some much-needed experience. Ideally though, I want us to throw everything we've got at Eric Gordon. I'd love to have him on the team next year.

I think the steal of the draft was The Thunders Pick. I think Perry was way better then Sullenger and He might be a better shooter then Ibaka. Any additions they make that give Durant space is a good thing. Ibaka does great D but he didn't do much in the finals. maybe they ditch Perkins and keep Perry and Ibaka.

Well, I'm happy with the Blazers' picks. Lillard is a good guard, which we've needed forever, and we got Leonard at 11th -- again, we needed a center, and any pick we could've made is better than the last time we picked a center (here's looking at you, Oden).
