I'm doing a lot of Batman: The Animated Series watching, even though the universes do not connect what so ever.

It is so damn good. So much so that when I get paid next, I'm going out and buying all the Justice League seasons. Hahaha.

I'm going to wait until the 19th and then have a double feature of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

According to Wally Pfister there are 100 minutes of action in TDKR.

Out of a 165-minute movie? Wow. Well, I trust Nolan to be able to pull something like that off.

It's crazy how far along Nolan has come, from being a low budget director doing thriller movies, to now being able to also to make a movie with tons of action. I remember that was the one thing people were worried about how he could handle the action aspect, and he really has improved greatly since Batman Begins.

The new TV spot is out. You get to hear a couple dialogue clips of Bale's voice. It's great IMO.

Also, a couple twitter reactions are coming out. One stated that they have already seen this movie, and in their opinion, is better than TDK.

Word on the street is, we can expect to hear reactions and reviews as early as tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it.

Speculation is that the opening weekend for TDKR will fall JUST short of The Avengers, but be much higher than that of TDK. So, finally those who hate against the Nolan Batman films can stop using the, "TDK was only successful because Ledger died" nonsense.

Bruce Wayne dies and John Blake becomes Batman. Next Batman film will be Batman Beyond inspired with Chris Nolan as producer. You heard it here first.

John Blake as Batman, and even Catman, has been discussed. But there being a 4th Nolan-verse film is fairly new. Nolan keeps saying this will be the last one but that may not be entirely new. I read a magazine at Barnes & Noble today that says WB is thinking of re-visiting the Batman Beyond script they developed a decade ago with Boaz Yorkin (or whatever his name is) and re-tooling it for the John Blake character. The article featured interviews with David Goyer and Michael Uslan. A lot of hints were dropped. The magazine is called "Sci-Fi" or "Sci-Fi Now". It's one of those two.

I've heard rumors of there being a 4th Nolan-verse film, I've heard rumors about there being another Nolan-verse film that takes place during the 8-year leap in TDKR, I've heard rumors of most of the cast returning, I've heard rumors of a completely new cast, there have been rumors of Nolan himself returning, etc. Truthfully, I think no matter what happens at the end of TDKR, we're going to see the Bruce Wayne/Batman dynamic again on the big screen before too long.

I live with two press people. I'll know when the mess hits the fan with this movie.

There's rumors and then there's an interview with David Goyer and Michael Uslan. WB hasn't made a decision yet but they're definitely considering a Batman Beyond inspired movie. They obviously can't reveal too much because saying Bruce dies and John Blake is Batman is a MAJOR spoiler. Assuming that's what happens. It's all speculation at this point. But WB looking into Batman Beyond is interesting nonetheless.

Batman says that he has not given Gotham everything, not yet.
What if he is talking about giving them the Truth?
The Dark Knight ended on a lie. I believe this one will end differently.

I really don't think John Blake is going to become Batman. There's a huge difference between being Batman and being a beat cop. I have a background in criminal justice, I've had a few private security positions, I've been through the police academy, I've had forensics and ballistics education, and I even took two years of krav maga in college... but in no way would I feel prepared to become Batman. I don't know how they would convey a simple beat cop like John Blake being able to ascend from cop to Batman unless they cut away to a 20 minute Rocky-esque montage of Blake training in the Himalayas in order to wear the cape and cowl.
