Just got back from seeing this, and all I want to do is scream at the people who made this. Why is it soooooooooo hard to just make the book. The book was a 10/10. Right now I'd give the movie a 6 at the most. They didn't even cover or show Id say at least the first 4 chapters of the book. Completely ignored the bond him and his mother had, why he wrote in his journal all the time, where he got the journal, how poor he was, all the real death he had to deal with...... just the whole backstory and truth. When you read the first quarter of the book, u'd think you were reading a biography, thats what made it so good, with the twist of vampires slowing being put into play. They decided to just add complete scenes or make up scenes through out the movie and because of that alot of cgi was needed. The last 40 minutes of the movie is just crap and they cut the movie short by about 15minutes ending it completely different. WHY WHY WHY!!!!????? They could have made this a very serious movie, all the actors were great, thats what pisses me off the most is when there was a serious scene on screen it was top notch acting, only to be sh@t on because of the horrible editing. Those scenes make we wish the whole movie was made that way, ughhh rant over
5-6/10 movie 10/10 book |
