I am not sure what people were expecting in any movie going to tackle anything in the Alien Universe. Lets face it humans in these types of movies are cannon fodder. Humans dying is what is gonna happen. I am not sure why there is so much dislike for this movie. They give us a movie ten times better then Aliens vs Predator and people still are complaining about this and that. I say its fa better step in the world of Alien since Aliens and Alien.

Wait, are we saying there was actual Star Trek music in the movie? I missed that.

Saw it again last night, still enjoyed it all the same. Noticed the same flaws, laughed at the horrible makeup on Guy Pierce, noticed the poor pacing a little more too. Still found it very entertaining though and still loved David the most. Also... no fraken Star Trek music. Where did you guys get that from?

I found no problem with the pacing at all. I'm pretty surprised to see it being brought up so much.

Seen it twice now! Once in IMAX! Have to say love it just the same. The problems that it does have don't bother me at all... And I feel like we'll get a better extended edition in the end.

Meh. This movie was alright, nothing special. In fact i feel its pretty forgettable. It had its moments where it really interested me but then the momentum would quickly be gone. I thought the plot was interesting, i just felt there was something missing from it. I thought the acting was pretty solid, Charleze Theoren was a ***** and played it real well, and Fessbender as Dave was solid as well.
I wish i could go more in depth with this movie but to me it made me leaving the theater with no strong opinion, it was pretty average and nothing special to me. 6/10 |

"Logan Marshall-Green: It's something that I wanted to implement and I really, really liked it. Michael and I had a blast with it. It's something I haven't seen in science fiction, which is a sense of racism or bigotry towards androids and synthetic life."
Except "I, Robot" (the movie), The Windup Girl (novel), A.I.: Artifical Intelligence, and let's put in one more, hmm....how about "Aliens?"

Nick1988:
1. No it didn't call all of them I think a lot of them escaped before it spread. Also he probably would have exploded like the head of the Alien they brought into the ship for experimenting or become a zomblie like thing that happened to geologist (forget his name). 2. That is something they are leaving open for a sequel to get answered from my understanding

Logan Marshall-Green doesn't write Sci-Fi. He played Charlie Holloway.

I literally can't think of a movie where humans interact with sentient androids or humanoid robots that DOESN'T touch upon that theme.
