Exactly. I saw Dark Knight 3 times within the same opening weekend because three different groups of people invited me. Batman is one of those movies you have to see on opening weekend or otherwise you'll be a social outcast.

Yeh they put one in the new Odeon in Liverpool One.

Don't think it's as big as the Manchester one but it does the job

I'm reading this conversation between Alien and Shained in those Scottish accents from Brave.

Alien, there are around a dozen IMAXs in Odeons around the UK. And have you considered using Google Maps to solve your not-being-able-to-find-the-Glasgow-IMAX problem?!

I have been invited by a couple of groups to go see TDKR, only bad thing is, I'm not made of money. Hah. I'll go with my family the first time, no question about that. I planned on seeing it two or three times opening weekend.

You have no sense of the theatrical.

July 2008 was a different era in my life, so I was able to spend that level of cash. But now, yeah, I'll probably only see the movie once. MAYBE twice. But most likely once.

Got my ticket for Sunday night because that's the only night that worked for the group I am going with. Looks like Friday is already sold out here in Austin.

Score samples are out. There's a bit of a throwback to the Batman Begins score you can hear in some of them, especially in the track Rise. And it seems the track Imagine the Fire might be some of the score from the climax.

Two new TV spots out have me begging for July 20th. No doubt, this looks like an epic, all out movie. The things that The Bat is capable of doing, so epic.

"I have something new to show you, Mr. Wayne...I call it The Bat, and yes, Mr. Wayne, it does come in black."

"Now you're just showing off."

Love it.

That's what I do. I don't understand the reasoning behind midnight showings. Too crowded and too much of a hassle. What's the difference between seeing it at midnight and seeing it three days later when its settled down some? There are way too many impatient people, it seems.

I never go to midnight showings, but it's not that hard to understand why people want to. Some people get very excited, and want to see a movie as soon as possible. Some people also enjoy crowds and being with other fans who also want to see it just as much as they do.

You and I both know that all of that is pretty preposterous. Who actually enjoys crowds and.....people?
