Dwyane Wade is the closer for the Heat. Statistically proven and consistently proven. LeBron can play most games, and he does well, but the big turn arounds are in part because of the play of Dwyane Wade. Just like last night, the Celtics held a huge lead and it was shattered once Wade blocked Ray Allen then hit a couple big buckets. The game was never the same.

However, Rajon Rondo gave the best performance of the playoffs, without question.

No one said LeBron is a closer. And as great as Wade is, he needs help and he's getting help from the rest of the team. Which is the big change the Heat needed. And yeah, Rondo gave an outstanding performance. If the Celtics weren't so damn old, they could probably win it all.

Sure. But it's not as fun talking about Wade as is Lebron.

for a guy who single handedly won the title through calls from zebras, wade did not drive at all last night. 0 free throws is unacceptable. of course going 1/5 from the line is also pretty unacceptable for an mvp, but at least he stayed aggressive.

Seriously.

Rondo is pretty damn fun to watch. Interesting hearing Magic talk about him.

Franklin, I keep forgetting you're a Rockets fan also. I'm so pissed that it's looking likely Lowry is gonna be gone next year because of his feud with McHale, like seriously can we ever keep our talented young PG? So frustrating, here's to hoping we cut Kevin "Plays no defense and gets hurt all the time" Martin and keep Lowry.

And very interesting that both are tied, but I still think it's gonna be Spurs-Heat. Plus it's been confirmed that Bosh WILL play in Game 5.

Good game last night. I really thought that Wade shot was going in.

I'm glad both series are tied. I love good basketball, and all four teams are playing good basketball.

I don't think it matters who wins in the East, either the Spurs or the Thunder will take it.

Yeah, I agree. The Spurs and Thunder have something neither Miami or Boston have. Depth.

Agree with you guys. Miami is going to get caught playing 2 on 5 Basketball. Boston is catching them but has not been very successful thus far(minus the two wins). I think they will wrap it up in Miami.

Yeah I think Boston has played really well, but I don't see them emulating this in Miami. Granted they got screwed in the OT loss Game 2 in Miami and should've won, but I'm with you guys. And yeah I think both OKC and SA have more depth, which is really the weakness of both MIA and BOS. When you look at OKC and SA having guys like Harden, Ginobli, and Stephen Jackson coming off the bench as opposed to Keyon Dooling and Haslem I really don't think the Finals will be all that close. There's only so much the stars in the East can do. The West has been the better conference for awhile now, and it's because they need to stack their teams ALL AROUND to make the playoffs as opposed to scrapping together stars in the East (Knicks are prime example). Anyways, I agree that it's great both series are tied and I hope more surprises are on the way.

I couldn't have said it any better. Boston and Miami just do not have the bench to contend with the Spurs or the Thunder. Simple as that. Both the West teams have elite benches and they would chew through Miami/Boston. The only thing I could see Miami/Boston having an advantage in is defense.

Huge win for the Thunder last night putting them in the driver seat. Let's see if they can close it out tomorrow.

yea wow, guess the spurs did choke.

anti-lebron durant is unstoppable. some of those shots he made...

and sno, i think mchale is just a stop gap here while we really rebuild, sucks we will lose lowry because of it, but supposedly the nbadl coach is waiting to get his shot at the rockets, but they want to give him a decent team to give him a shot at winning.

hoping we get 1 or 2 of these three, terrence jones, moe harkless, or dion waiters.

and hell who knows, maybe we free up enough space in '16 for davis to come to town.

You know, it's always a tough call with rebuilding because I'd always rather them have a winning record and be competitive (which they've been every year but the one where Yao and McGrady both missed the entire year) then suffer through abysmal seasons to rebuild, but that's just me. They should have made the playoffs over the pathetic Jazz but completely collapsed down the stretch. Then again playing a chunk of the short season without both Lowry and Martin was very difficult. I like McHale, I don't blame him for the Rockets' complete lapses in games at times. I don't want to lose Lowry or McHale, I'd rather see Dragic get overpaid by some other team and we accumulate some more defensive minded young players. I like Parsons, Scola, and Lowry, but I do understand we aren't gonna go anywhere without a true star to glue them all together. Interesting to see what happens in the offseason, but I think our GM Morey is a complete MORON.

And WOW what a win for Boston in Miami. Miami got out hustled on both ends of the court and couldn't win despite poor shooting performances by Rondo AND Pierce. KG was just an animal tonight.

I loved KG's speech after.

Great game. Hopefully. I'm not counting on anything, especially with Bosh but hopefully they can take this in Boston.

What do the Heat do if they lose tomorrow? Blow it up? Trade Wade for more help? New coach? Should be interesting to see where they go from here if they are eliminated tomorrow.
