I bought me a PS Vita, been playing that after class. MLB The Show for it is pretty solid, could've been better, but definitely fun.


I'm SLOWLY progressing through Mass Effect 3, as well.

I'm playing through L.A. Noire and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (both for the first time). I'm doing my best to resist ACB until I finish L.A., but I'm struggling with that idea. Assassin's Creed II is one of the most developed games I've ever played and I badly want to go back into that 'verse.

I tried so hard to like assassins creed brotherhood, but something about that gameplay did work for me... I'm in the minority I know on that one.

On to Uncharted: Among Thieves.

And blowing through that one too. Just passed the train level which is where I stopped the first time around (and is an AWESOME set piece, I must say). Overall, I really do enjoy the game play but it's not as involved as I would like. I am, however, getting much better with the gun play. Or it got easier...which I doubt.

I beat L.A. Noire, now I'm full steam into Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. I'm dabbling a little in NCAA Football 12 too.

Brotherhood is my favorite of the Ezio trilogy. Great game.

Currently playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (360). When the game isn't busy freezing, that is.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City - This game is unplayable. Buggy, repetative, and straight out generic. Paid $60 for it and refuse to finish it. Will be trading in today.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 on Xbox 360. It's a lot harder than the previous games. The putting is probably the most difficult thing.

MLB 2K12

Because this is the first baseball video game I've played since... 2001, I don't have the same criticisms of the series that everybody else seems to have. It's a lot of fun and very addicting. I'm playthrough a My Player right now (first baseman), and because you only play your at-bats and the occasional field on the play (about 6-8 plays a game), an entire game only takes about 8-10 minutes. I've had the game for two days and I've already managed to play over 70 games (about 25 in the minors before being called up, and then about 45-50 for the Brewers). The game is a blast.

My Dad bashed it for the longest time, making jokes about calling it a Piece **** Vita. I'm going to be honest with you, it is everything I wanted and more. Right now, I own two games, MLB The Show, GTA: Vice Cit Stories and Uncharted Golden Abyss. I have probably put about 20+ hours into MLB, 10 into GTA and about 6 into Uncharted thus far. This doesn't account for my Netflix/Video/Music usage. The screen is absolutely breathtaking, and games are better than ever. It is so light, and it is built very well. Right now, there aren't a lot of games out for it, but come May and E3 time there will be. I think if you have the money, fork it over.

Since the playoffs are around, I'm going back and forth between NBA 2K12 and NHL 12. I love both games.

On to Uncharted: Drake's Deception. And possibly my favorite of the series thus far.

I will say, the gameplay as markedly improved with every installment and the cinematics are fanastic across the board. My only gripe is length.

Has anybody here played Kingdoms of Amalur? Trying to decide if I want to play that, Skyrim, or Xenoblade Chronicles this summer. FF XIII-2 and Mass Effect 3 are also in the mix, but my understanding is both of those are pretty short.

Between Skyrim, Amalur, and Xenoblade, I'd recommend Skyrim. All quality games with a ton of content, but I think Skyrim is the best of the 3.

I can't speak for FF XIII-2, but I know that Mass Effect 3 took me around 35 hours to finish, doing the majority of sidequests and such. It's no 100 hour epic like the others you listed, but there's a fair amount of content there regardless.

I haven't played it, I am however, close to buying it. The reviews for it are near perfect. Apparently the story line, and decision making is top, if not near top the best you can have in gaming. Read up the IGN review if you can, it will make it a buy for you.
