Default Thorin Oakenshield

And here is the final member!!

I did always imagine Thorin much older than he appears. But god, this will do!

I use to sell fantasy/medieval replicas and general cutlery. Sting was the only one I ever kept a copy of for myself. I'm going to be very tempted to get one of Orcrist.

May get a bit excited here, but I think Orcrist is beautiful! I have the United Cutlery version of Sting on my wall, and hope to god they make Orcrist. They will look brilliant together. Thumbs up from me!

He's supposed to have a full beard. And isnt so much of an a-hole in the book as he is in the movie, until he finds the Arkenstone. Then he turns on full on stubborn and hard headed. Before that he was a tortured and lonely soul, because his family was lost during smaug's attack. I think the movies are stupid and just sjow that peter jackson likes certains parts of the book and then maked the rest up.

Yeah, these movies have done a horrible job making him even remotely sympathetic. Everyone I know who isn't a Tolkien fan is basically like "Wow, I don't like that guy at all, he's a whiny jerk" and everyone who IS a Tolkien fan is like "Wow, they really messed up his character in the movies, they made it so that audiences won't like him at all and made him a whiny jerk."
