Dori, Ori and Nori

Picture of the 3 brother's released today:

What do we all think? Good, bad or indifferent?

I personally love them! Yes they don't all look like Gimli, but not all humans look the same. Distinguishing between 13 dwarves was also going to be tricky. But Pj & co have done brilliantly.

Plus, notice how the eyebrows of Nori are platted!!

The order of that picture is actually Nori, Ori, and Dori.

I don't really like Nori's design. Other than that, it looks pretty awesome. I like how they look NOTHING like Gimli and yet, still look very dwarvish.

He does have some crazy hair. The designers have lived with it much longer than us. I think we'll get used to it. I like them all already. Jed is one of my favorite of the dwarf actors too. I hope they don't save Thorin for last by himself. They should group him with his nephews Fili and Kili. I hope Balin and Dwalin are next.

Granted Nori looks weird, but I'll accept it! Mark Hadlow (Dori) I really like!

Bring on Thorin, Balin, Dwalin, Fili, Kili, Bifur, Bofur and Bombur. While many are anticipating Thorin I'm curious to have a chuckle at how Bombur is going to look!

If you re-watch PJ's first video blog there are 3 large ginger beards. I reckon these belong to Bifur, Bofur and Bombur. I can't imagine these would belong to any of the others (as they are 3 brothers.) They could, however, be different variations of the same beard. Who knows! Can't wait for the next pictures.

Well the ginger beards didn't turn up in the end. Will take back that statement. I reckon they are variations for either Gloin and/or Bombur, or possibily another Dwarf not part of the main company.

Now that it has been a couple of days since this first picture came out, I have come to love these three. I think they look great! I can't wait to see Nori and Dori in action, and see what Ori is like.
