Sorry bring an old topic back, but has anyone seen the Prince of Persia preview that was on Entertainmet Tonight a couple weeks ago? It was basically just an interview with Jake, but they did show footage of them filiming. It looks pretty cool I think.

Disney's live action movie based on the video game Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is still over a year away, but that hasn't stopped the Mouse House from giving ABC viewers a first look at the movie thanks to producer Jerry Bruckheimer's appearance during a recent ABC Movie Special. He talks about the plot of the movie, while the footage shows actor Jake Gyllenhaal's training for the Parkour moves he uses in the film, which is directed by Mike Newel (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), as well as some of the location shooting in the deserts of Morocco.

JG's accent sounded a bit inconsistent and forced, and the girl's delivery was strangely stiff. The visuals looked OK I guess, but a bit OTT at times. It was a tiny youtube vid though so I haven't given up hope altogether.

yea the accent is pretty crazy, but i don't think it looks as bad as i thought it would.
cg obviously needs work but there is plenty of time for that.

I have seen worse trailers then this. It for me i hope does well so get a good buzz and maybe more better video game films.
Maybe Halo finally get done or a Metal Gear.

Doesn't impress me at all. The effects look as bad as Spiderman's. And I'm right pissed at Disney... some people (ME!) do not do snakes so I sure as hell didn't want to see that in the trailer. f'ers

My curiosity is definitely aroused. Looks like another fun fantasy blockbuster from Jerry Bruckheimer, plus Mike Newell showed he had a flair with this stuff in Goblet of Fire.
But the girl's voiceover was kind of annoying.
