If this has been out of hand for a while, I apologize. I've been extremely busy the last few weeks or so, and have been unable to police the forums as well as I'd like.

I always tend to miss out on these extraordinary events right on the spur of the moment.

Who the hell let Michael Bay get involved with this franchise? He should stick to what he does best and blow **** up and leave it at that. This movie really blows and I know he had a hand in the outcome of this last Jason.

What are you talking about? He only produced the movie, he had nothing to do with the script, filming, or anything else. Even if you think the film was bad, it had nothing, and I repeat nothing, to do with Michael Bay.

I actually saw this one opening day and am watching it on DVD. I love this, it's the best F13 movie to date imo, and it was successful in bringing Jason back and making him scary, which was really needed after JGTH, JTM, & JX. FVJ was passable.

i don't know if you know this, but producers have a lot of say in the script, filming, casting, crew, etc..... the producer is pretty much in charge.

Yes, I'm aware but from what I've seen Bay has yet to tamper with the remakes.

And "producer" is one of the most nebulous titles in the biz. Some producers bring money. Some bring talent. Some bring other things to the table. They all have a differing amounts of power depending on who they are.

But Bay would have a lot of say in the matter since he's box office gold--I guarantee you he made a lot of decisions on this movie.

For the record I thought this was a decent remake, but I think it's crazy talk to say it's the best of the series. That way lies madness, my friend.

another michael bay crock of ****. this one really sucked. only cool thing was the weed and tits. and the tits didnt even look natural like the old days. thats one thing i can give to rob zombie. he showed natural teen looking tits. michael bay has managed to **** up this franchise more than it had already been. and he will continue on with his next **** project nightmare on elm street. lets pray its not too bad

Yet another person who doesn't seem to grasp the fact that while Bay was the producer, he let everyone do their thing. He had nothing to do with the story or filming, he simply produced it.
