The trailer isn't working for me for some reason but I did catch a bunch of shots from the movie and it does look quite pretty, animation wise.

well it was a very rough cut. some storyboards, some complete, and some in between. music was temporary but all the voicework was done. its really saying so,ething when you can love an animated movie without all its animation

What!? That's awesome you got to be a a part of that test screening, very jealous. I'm really looking forward to this one, I like the teaser they've put out. It's just classic Pixar, with the rich colors and nailing the distinctive sounds of a balloons. Has me looking forward to a trailer for sure.

Have you guys had a chance to watch the new trailer they've put out for the film? It starts with a breif filmography of Pixar, but then gets in to some new footage of UP. That relationship between the old guy and the young scout could be pretty interesting. Here's the new trailer.

I read some heartbreaking description about the first five minutes of this movie. It involves a girl named Ellie. Any of this true, Elmo Zombie?

Short trailer, but it already cracks me up.
"Could you let me in?" "......no!" And the yellow ball with the star is already in the trailer.

Odd, I anticipated WallE for a full year like no movie since I was a kid. (Of course, back then, I never knew of an upcoming movie a year in advance)

I think the relationship between the old man, Carl, and the young kid Russell is going to be hilarious at time and heart felt at others. In classic Pixar fashion they'll be able to make this relationship charming, relatable, and entertaining.

![]() ![]() ![]() Earlier this year in Seattle a woman named Edith Mayfield passed away. She was 86 and had no family and few friends. Edith refused a $750,000 offer on her small Seattle home, and as such the developers built their planned complex around her in a run-down area. Her house still stands there today and you can see it when driving over the Ballard Bridge. When interviewed in 2006, Ms. Macefield said, "I don't care about money ... I'm perfectly happy here. And I don't want to move." Inspiration for film? Probably not, as it takes many years for Pixar films to be developed. But cool story of sticking it to the man until death, anyway.

First off those pictures of the actual UP house are so awesome! I can't believe it actually exists. 2nd of I'm happy to hear that Pixar gives us a bit of a back story on Carl in the beginning so we get to know him and then after that can jump on in to the story.

Ha- well unfortunately we still have a few more days to anticipate this one, but I too am really looking forward to what Pixar has in store for us next summer. Especially with this one being in 3D, This being the first Pixar movie shot in 3D I'll have to check it out on the 3D screen.
