Yeah it's a catch 22. It's definitely one of my favorite movies, but it's a favorite movie that isn't watched too often because I don't have all day. Still I can guarantee that you'll enjoy it more the second time around....whenever that is. ;)

I don't think I ever told you, but I did get around to watching Das Boot a while back. I liked it, but I really felt the run time. It's the type of movie I think I'd like more on a second viewing, and yet the run time is discouraging me from watching it again any time soon.

It might be a while before I watch it. I've got The Birds, Lost in Translation, and Bonnie and Clyde waiting, so it could take time. Plus the movie is long so I'll probably need to set aside a date on the weekend. Maybe this Sunday.

So what'd you think of Das Boot? You catch it yet?

I blind bought Das Boot yesterday based heavily on the praise you have for it. If I don't like it, I'm blaming you :P
