-There's a picture of Arogorn on a horse, he looks completely different, he is a King!
-I guess the scene of Arwen "sleeping or something" that looks like shes dead is going to take place in ROTK because in the calendar they have a picture of er with the same dress.
-And the same thing goes with Eowyn, it is my theory that the beautiful shot of the camera panning away from Eowyn in Edoras is going to be in ROTK indeed, cause in the calendar they have a picture of her wearing the same dress as in that shot.
(Some people think that shot of Eowyn in TTT of her ontop in Edoras is the same or a part of the one shot that came out in the teaser trailer but its not, if you look closely, her dress is different.)
-There also a shot of Gandalf fighting, awesome!

Diehard LOTR fans unite, we need to have a candle light vigile in December of 2004. Why you may ask? But it is because after sometime in November of 2004, the new DVDs will stop being released. There will be no more LOTR to go to see in the theaters. Though that joyous day in August 2004 when ROTK comes out, there will be celebration amongst the masses. For whenever you are lonely, sad, happy, no matter the emotion, you will always be able to go to your DVD player sit down for a whopping 10 hours and see the greatest story ever told unfold before your eyes.
My god an epiphany hit me just now! I know why the movies just came out, because PJ knew taht the world would not be able to hand LOTR before this. I mean before this it was crap VHS and with VHS the more you watch the crappier quality, GODBLESS dvd, now we can watch LOTR as many times as we want without fear of depletion of scenes!!!!
Yes I know all this was random, but the first paragraph is a converstaion taht I have with my friends usually once a day. I don't mean to break up the little discussion you all are having, but I thought you might a appreciate a pic of the MOUTH OF SAURON...

Keep in mind that PJ said that the Mouth of Sauron would be wearing a helmet of some type and all we would see is his mouth, I guess that would make sense since he is the MOUTH of Sauron. Also it explains why heavy make up is being applied to this actor's jaw.

The mouth of Sauron is basiclly Sauron's henchman, when all the characters come together to fight the battle at the black gate, he rides out on his black horse and does all the talking for Sauron. He and Aragorn kind of have a go at a each other vocally.

I actually think this is a cut scene from TTT, it looks like eomer in the far background in the middle, on a horse with the spear, possibly the scene where theodrid* is killed by orcs, I remember seeing eomer with a spear in a trailer but not in the movie...so maybe a connection?

I still think its a deleted scene from TTT, I remember seeing Eomer on a horse with a spear by himself in preview, but never saw it in the film... and 'yeah' all or most of men in Rohan and long blonde hair, I have a feeling will will see this in the E.E. version of TTT. Agreed. so much more impact than the typical montage type poster that you usually get, a la Star Wars.

Of course we'll no doubt end up getting the final posters in similar style to FOTR and TTT, showing a range of 'floating head' characters. After all despite the title, in essence what they'll want to focus on is Frodo's quest to destroy the ring.

I would love the teaser poster just to show a reforged Anduril and that's it. For me a TEASER poster should just tease and not give away too much about the story. Then when you get down to the theatrical one sheets, then start adding in characters. The first TWO TOWERS teaser poster was a good tease. It just showed the two towers and that's it.

Does anyone have pics of the Tower of Barad-dûr from all 3 movies? I remember PJ making a statement during the FOTR comentary saying that you'll see the tower in certain stages of construction, and I thought it'd be cool to see some of the kinds of pics.

I was thinking that when I watched PJ's commentaries again the other week. The earlier construction phase wasn't shown that clearly in FOTR, and by TTT it appeared pretty much complete.
