Hmmm...I never really thought about it. Everyone here talks like me! One thing I've noticed is that almost the entire English-speaking world struggles with my accent. American and English accents are really easy for us (I suppose we hear them all the time on TV), but I find that even the best Australian accents I've heard, you can still tell they aren't really Aussies.

And you'd be welcome, bro! In Melbourne today it is one of those days you couldn't improve if you tried. It's about 25 (or 80) degrees with a gentle cool breeze and not a cloud to be seen.
As a matter of fact, I'm consider myself pretty lucky to be living here. Melbourne was recently voted the world's most liveable city.
We don't get crazy temperature extremes (average summer temperature of about 30 celcius, average winter around 15C), low crime rate (and even the organized crime tends to keep well out of general society. They're there, but you'd never know it if you didn't go looking for it) and it's really green. And best of all, we have cricket, Aussie Rules Football and GOLD CLASS CINEMAS!!!!!!:D :D :D

It's a definite fact there are certain words or phrases that I draw out- particulary words with "i" in them. Like I said, especially South Carolina..which ends up sounding like South Caroliiiina. Or sugar which ends up like sugah (yeah..go ahead and laugh) and night comes out niiight. You get the picture. I hate it, but apparently it gives eveyone else something to smile about. :)
