Yeah, they're 12'' discs. Laserdisc production in the U.S. basically ended in 2000 (so all movies released before that year are likely available on LD). My current player's laser has burned out so I bought a used 'Like New' one on eBay. Why do I collect them? I don't know, I'm weird like that. :cool:

An argument can be made the LD's have better audio quality due to the fact that they are not compressed. Well, I grew up listening to albums, so I knew what they were, and the laser discs looked just like them, except silver, so its not like I knew any better. Mom and Dad probably would've killed me if I'd tried to put one on the turntable. I know for a fact they would've killed me if I'd stuck one of their vinyls in the laserdisc player. ;)

Yeah, and they don't damage as easy. If a ld has a bit of dust or minor scratches it can effect the playback.

I can understand that, but like just earlier she said she was gonna cook dinner and got everything ready to do it, and now she just totally left to go to a city thats like 3 hours away.
