You're absolutely right!!! For the time that Jericho was in WCW, the heads of that organization felt that he wasn't main event material. That's why he went to WWE in the first place!!!

Vegeance Predictions
Triple Threat Winner: Kurt Angle
The Rock will be gone shortly after SummerSlam, Taker will probably retire after Survivor Series, Angle is not injured and gets great heat has done everything WWE has asked him and is a one of the best wrestlers they have. I read the SM! spoiler last night and he might not be a heel for too long.
RVD retains Int.
Ric doesn't have a match so you know he'll be involved in this one. He'll cost Lesner the match. He is the dirtiest player in the game.
Tag Team Champs: Lance and Christian
Christian has to catch up with Edge for TT title wins. The anti-Americans need this to give them a push. Edge could betray Hogan and turn heel (but would still be a face in Canada) but no.
Tag Team Tables: Bennoit and Eddie
I just see them winning. With the nWo dead, the four horseman could appear in the future.
No DQ: Booker T
Has Booker T ever won a PPV match?
CrusierWeight: Jamie Noble
I say he'll lose it at SS.

Don't see too many PPVs do you?
-- Well it is your opinion.
01) WrestleMania X-8
02) Royal Rumble
03) No Way Out
04) Vengeance
05) King of the Ring
06) Judgment Day
07) Backlash
The Rock is the first 7 time Champion, but the how long are his title reigns? His last was a month, and this one will either be a month (losing at Summerslam) or just after one month (lose it on RAW). Its just a quick fix, Angle/Lesner would've been a better match.
But the WWE is trying so hard to save RAW. The Rock and HHH being added to the roster.
Best Three Matches: Triple Threat, Tag Team Tables, Int Champ
Medicore Matches: Crusier, Euro,
Impressed with Booker T's move at the end, Jericho (?) hasn't won a PPV match since No Mercy. Good to see he pissed off Edge by costing him the titles but I don't see him joing the anti-Americans.
Good PPV with some low points (let Lesner lose cleanly or by Flair), but WWE did a little quick fix but hopefully they've set things up for the better.

ooooo right in the balls.
And HHH keeps the shockers on Raw going. HHH/HBK at Summerslam its that simple. HHH heal is the best.
Top to bottom fine show. Well that 3minute match could've been used differently 'cause those big guys didn't get much reaction and does the WWE need two more wrestlers? No.
Unified Int Title was a suprise, hopefully they create a new title, maybe one thats more towards the extreme but not quite like the hardcore.
Anyway great Raw.
I'm glad Brock went to Smackdown! Now more wrestlers on RAW can get bigger pushes. While Smackdown's roster of wrestlers suffer and job to Brock. Can you say Hogan?
Anyways....I read this on a following wrestling source

SUMMERSLAM SPOILERS

It was said that at Vengence, Taker would job to Brock for the belt. Most of us doubted the idea of it but still waited to see if it was right. Needless to say, Rock got the belt..
But..
Rock is going to be working on his acting career and will job to Brock at Summerslam. Why Rock? Mainly because it might be the last time he ever holds the belt. Kurt Angle is a great technichal wrestler and really did deserve it. As Undertaker holding the belt for another month would be an awful idea..
End of spoilers
RAW Thoughts
The Following Rant is the opinion of Link.
The following has typo's and crappy grammar..rushed mostly.
Also some parts of the rant will go downward into different discussion good day..
Bischoff comes out and rants about The Rock coming to RAW and HHH....Wasn't HHH already on RAW?
Blah Blah Blah..Introduces HHH into the ring and HBK comes out...
New Color Commentery set..nice..blah blah Nitro Copy off..
Bischoff says HBK will be HHH manager everywhere. Around the world, STV Movies, in the shower naked..uh...
HBK hates the idea..leaves..HHH runs for him..
Bischoff smiles and announces tonight there will be a ladder match for Euro and IC.
HBK and HHH argue..nice...build-up
<Break>
Jeff Hardy comes out? Ladder Match already? It seems RAW's viewers won't have to suffer through the whole show and watch the only decent match right now. RVD's ribs get hurt..he wins...He goes into the books as the 3rd Eurocontidental champion ever...D'lo and Angle follow..
CN thanks Bischoff in front of everyone..Surprise! No ******* chant yet...
Undertaker comes out and beats down CN ass..Last Ride..Wow this is probably the first thing he ever has done in his Bad Ass gimmick that I appluad to. As yet..Chris doesn't deserve to even get powerbombed by Taker. And should be on a Dark Match of Velicity, getting Shattered Dreams by Goldust. Gangrel anyone?
Rhyno..wow...COUGH SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT COUGH
Intergender match...It seems Vince likes manipulating Women...then rush into his room during one of these kind of matches...
Vince has misplaced his AstroGlide..Anybody seen it?
Bischoff talks to Benoit about maybe getting a title shot. Maybe the first thing the writing crew has done accurately this whole night.
Rock and Eddie argue in a time wasting segment..
Anybody remember when there was always an excellent opening plot that lasted about 24 minutes. Which was the only segment and the rest was ass kicking? Yeah I miss it too...
Brock kicks Dreamer's ass..Who didn't see it coming? Since Brock seems to be from Vince's view as the only solution to ratings...
Vince is an idiot..
Undertaker attacks Lesnar...I guess this sadly means Summerslam will be a 3 way..Maybe Angle will get in it too..
Big Show talks to Micheals about Tough Love..threatening too..Come on..Wight Shawn shouldn't even be wasting time on your fat jobbing ass.
Dlo fights Stasiak and Island Boys come in and clean house...Island Boys? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING VINCE!?
HHH segment..skip
Goldust and Booker..you guys aren't entertaining anymore..skip
Booker T vs Benoit
As much as I love Booker's skills and deserving push. I look at Benoit and see he hasn't even won a damn match before Vengence...Benoit wins...good for him..
Show comes out..powerbombs Spike..
MY GOD ERIC YOU DO HAVE RUTHLESS AGRESSION..STOP BRINGING IN 2ND RATE WCW WRESTLERS AND WASTING TIME WITH SHOW!!
Show puts Spike through a table..
HHH and Shawn come up next..
Before I say this..When I witnessed this next segment, I was excited! I knew D-X resulted the Old WWF!! Great!
HHH and Shawn come out in the best segment of RAW in the pass 3 weeks! I loved it...
HHH does the old D-X poem......Oh well Shawn shouldn't have closed his eyes..
HHH turns around and kicks HBK..I knew the writers would **** something up..But props to Hunter for doing the best and hardest damn pedigree ever in his career..
End of segment..Ah..that was great..
Steph comes..great..
Rock fights Eddie..blah blah blah..end of match..Brock grabs Rock's belt and holds it for an annoying minute..There was no tension..He drops it....Instead of discussing Rock's win, they keep saying BROCK IS DOING MIND GAMES! MIND GAMES! WHAT A MIND GAME! ROCK WAS JUST FOOLED!?!! MIND GAME! MY GOD! Rock just stood there dumbfounded..thinking how the hell his Agent let him do..A MIND GAME! JESUS! WHAT A BUILDUP! Siegfried and Roy will be performing next week with White Tigers..what a MIND GAME! They'll be pulling a rabbit out of a hat..As Vince is busy using a Jimmy Hat as his stocks drop..
Brock goes for Smackdown!..Well there goes Edge's career..as he'll be jobbing to that fat MONSTER! MONSTER! MY GOD!
Thank you for reading Link's RAW Rant..Next week..I predict..
HHH being a single heel..Alone
Bischoff and Steph continue to recruit people...Benoit will win atleast one belt from RVD...HBK feud with Hunter maybe? Hey maybe Billy Gunn will come out of House Shows and they'll sign Road Dogg..don't count on it...

Yeah there should be more build up but there is three Pay Per Views plus a dozen Raws between now and November. It would be very hard to drag out that angle for four months for one match. The Raw before SummerSlam could feature a tag match Show/HHH vs. HBK/? .
I think the HBK/Show encounter was just to hint that HBK will return.

Great match between Ric Flair, and The Rock; Shawn Michaels was
attacked; Chris Benoit is the new IC champ; the UnAmericans attacked the Undertaker; and Y2J attacked Ric Flair, and now he's back on Raw!
slinger
07-29-2002, 10:16 PM
Ever since I read the spoiler last week, Jericho was my pick. I was suprised, disappointed and enjoyed seeing the UnAmericans tonight. Then after all great matches (most notably Bennoit winning) Y2J makes his appearence. The UnAmericans and Chris weren't booked tonight for the SD! house show so many had Jericho as the most likely choice. So I was suprised when his intro started.
Anyway it was another great RAW, the HBK incident, was the only questionable point. HHH looked to be a heel again then we get this stuff this week? Maybe he did do it.
So now who is going to Smackdown? Bennoit with his new belt or maybe Tommy Dreamer which would cause the hardcore division to shift to SD!
HotBoy
07-29-2002, 10:30 PM
It could be both Tommy Dreamer, and RVD. Having RVD on Smackdown would be a major boost for the show, especially with Rey Mysterio, Jr. now on Smackdown!!! Can you imagine a match between the 2 of them, or for that matter, the 2 of them as a tag-team?!!
Also, I've got a feeling that HBK's attacker(s), are either the UnAmericans, or the Big Show.
Lastly, here's a message to the WWE: Please, sign GOLDBERG!!!
I'm dying to see Goldberg vs. HHH!!!

Wasn't Shawn gonna make a comeback in 2001? I read in a Raw magazine that was released about the time of WMX7, that he was coming back. And from what I gathered, it would be for a wrestling role....
The main reason I think he's in decent shape now? All the hype otherwise! HHH: "You're crippled, HBK is dead, you can't wrestle!" In fact, I was looking for Shawn to come out and whup @$$ in Greensboro, but guess not....
The WWE likes to pull out suprises, so it would be a big suprise to see HBK put on a decent match at SummerSlam....but I know the back injury was not a work, so he will never be on the exact same level as before. Just a thought....but I still think that with all the stuff I have read in interviews with him since the injury, he may have some gas left in the tank, with all due respect to JR!
MysteryStar
08-17-2002, 09:50 AM
I agree it could be just hype but I think at the start it might just be a pure fight.
Shawn said this was just like a test match to see if he would want to come back and if he did it wouldn't be till wrestle mania. This match is the make or break match for Shawn and the WWE to see if he should come back.
I don't think there is a role left for Shawn if he came back. People would expect him to pull the same stuff off and he couldn't and so the fans may be let down.
Well I wouldn't cause I never really like Shawn anyways. but still some might be let down.

well a shawn michaels at 50% is still about 100% better than half the wrestlers on the current roster. plus i'm pretty confident he'll work a better match than the others that have come back after a long layoff like hogan and flair. although in hogans case that ain't saying much. ;)

Another great RAW! What an ending.
SummerSlam Predictions
The Rock(c) vs. Lesner: Lesner. With all the apparent ads about events in September mentioning Lesner with the Raw roster, The Rock filming a movie in September and Lesner not ever losing (well kinda) he'll be champ. Even though I think its just too quick. The thing now is the wrestler who defeats Lesner.
HBk vs HHH: Tough. It has been hyped as a street fight. I think HHH will pin HBK but HBK won't leave crippled.
Flair vs Y2J: I see Y2J winning this. Flair's last PPV match. Maybe one more match on the following RAW or the next week's RAW.
RVD vs Bennoit(c): The Crippler. Thus RVD will be punished on the next RAW.
Taker vs Test: Test will bury the the Deadman. With Taker's retirement seeming like a few months away Taker will get the big boot. Or Taker could win but a special rematch for the next PPV would have Test win.
Un-Americans vs Booket T & Goldust The 5 time WCW Champion and the Goldenone will win. With two tag match wins in a row, the Un-Americans will suffer a lost. Maybe the Island Boys will face off against Booker and Goldust on the following RAW.
Angle vs Mysterio Angle. But it will be one of the most entertaining matches of the night.
Edge vs Eddie I will have to go with Edge here.
Well once again the HC title will not be up for grabs at a PPV. Maybe a ladies battle royal will be added. Like Eric said the PPV needs sex appeal.

Only three right. But does Flair need another win? No. I must say another great PPV, hopefully those who only watched for HBK will continue to watch RAW and Smackdown! What happened to the crowd during the last half? They could've made the PPV so much better. Sure it wasn't 67,000 cheering for Hogan and booing the Rock but come on 15,000 can't cheer for HBK's return. The crowd was more into the Angle/Mysterio match. So is RVD going to SD!? A relative of mine from Charlotte had a theory a few months ago, and I see it coming to pass. Who can beat Brock?
ANGLE!
Brock is out-Angle-ing Kurt! Kurt is also a skilled technical (amatuer) wrestler, and also had an unheard of fast rise to the top tier. It's great to go back and read in Angle's book (published a year or 2 ago) that Brock was chicken to get in the ring and have an amatuer match with Kurt! Of course, from the book I can tell Kurt is almost as arrogant in real life as he is on WWE TV - but "it ain't braggin if ya do it and ya back it up!" It's time for Angle to have another top tier run, IMHO. But who will turn? After hearing "Rocky sucks!!" and boos after Rock layed the SmackDown last night, I think I see an F-5 in Paul Heyman's future!
But forget that HHH-HBK Stole the show! And to be honest, I have been content to get play-by-plays online for other ppv's, but this was the sole reason I bought SummerSlam! WHAT A MATCH! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! And it was as I hoped - he IS still the Showstopper! Crossbody from the top rope to HHH through a table outside, elbow drop off the top of a ladder - holy crap!!! But like slinger said....will this be the last of HBK? I hope not! If he had won the match and left, yeah...but to see him carried out on a strecher?! Booo!
I read in a Raw magazine from about 2 years ago that Shawn would do it one more time for his son....and I guess he did! But one more what? Match? Or run? Only 14 hours till Raw!!!!

Rey and Kurt tore it up to kick off the ppv with a great match
Why does Jericho still lose to people like Flair? He should be the main heel on Raw and in a top of the line feud
A great tag match with the UnAmericans coming out on top like they should've
Edge looked great against Eddie and I hope he gets pushed all the way to the top and is the man to beat Brockberg
RVD beat Benoit in one hell of a match and now is going to take the IC title to SD with him(I think)
HBK and HHH put on a match of the year candidate and HBK made me remember why he is second on my all time favorites list. He did stuff last night that made my jaw drop and made me feel like a kid all over again. I so hope he doesn't drop off of t.v. again for good
I still don't know why Brock was given the Undisputed Championship before people like Edge, Kane, Benoit, Booker, or RVD. I just don't feel that Brock is the strong champion that is needed to bring exposure to the WWE

They got it in their heads that he will be the next big thing. And by god they are going to do their best to make him just that. . . Reguardless of what you want ;)
Too bad The Rock has to go film Spy Hunter or some such.

What was the deal with HHH's face? Why would he shave he doesn't seem like a heel anymore. I found it strange. Only Jericho can do it not him.
RVD to SD!, Kane to RAW. The ending for SummerSlam should've been like this: Brock celebrates half the crowd cheers for him (?) then a limping HBK makes his way out, challenges Lesner for the title. Heyman screams no, but a cocky Lesner accepts. Lesner pretty much dominates, but he knocks the ref by accident. The Rock comes in and HBK double team Brock. After a Rock Bottom, Lesner barely gets up Flair through the crowd runs in with a chair hits Lesner then Brock gets Sweet Chin Music. 123 HBK is the new champ. Lesner is furious. Flair leaves knowing he got his revenge. The Rock and HBK leave the ring. Rock raises HBK's arm.
The next night on RAW, HBK comes out talks about his matches, HHH interupts and says after the beating I gave you, you can't wrestle! The doctors have told you that and you're not cleared to wrestle. HBK admits this. Says the title will then be up for grabs at the next PPV in a fatal fourway. Two wrestlers from RAW, two From SD! Lesner runs in give the F-5 to HBK. HHH says I guess it be me and you representing RAW.

Well, I was disappointed that HBK didn't come out and screw HHH out of winning the #1 contender's match....but at least they are leaving it open for his return by not saying much either way...
If he was gonna go out, looks like he would just have won the match and left....right? Instead of being "crippled" again!

Maybe because Lesner will only be on SD!
But if Lesner is ever in a Triple Threat, he isn't pinned the champ is back on RAW.

That was actually part of my guess, which is: there will be 2 contenders for the WWE title, 1 from RAW(HHH), and 1 from Smackdown.
My guess is the 2 guys who should fight for that chance are Kurt Angle, and Edge.
Also, the match between RVD, and Tommy Dreamer was excellent!!!
Lastly, did you see Stephanie at the end of RAW??! Is it me, or is she getting bigger up top??

From WWE.com:
Last match or not, Michaels amazes
by Phil Speer
UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Aug. 25, 2002 – It was the kind of match that friends, spouses and parents fly into town to see. Shawn Michaels and Triple H performed in a contest tonight that neither one of them – nor, if the fans at Nassau Coliseum are any indication, the fans – will ever forget.
For the record, Michaels won, but he took a severe beating from Triple H after the match.
Kevin Nash sat next to his longtime friend, Michaels, as the Heartbreak Kid received ice on his back after the match.
“It was everything I knew it would be,” Nash told WWE.com about the match. “It’s not like I’m surprised about how good it was. I didn’t fly here to watch anything but. It was watching two of the greats.”
Nash was one of a few dozen Superstars who stopped by to shake Michaels’ hand and express their admiration for his ability and the match. “How long have you been off?” Chris Benoit came by and asked Michaels jokingly, implying that HBK’s performance in the match made it look like he was a full-time competitor, not one who had not wrestled in WWE since WrestleMania XIV.
Even Triple H expressed his admiration.
“Shawn Michaels proved to the world, to me, tonight, that he’s the greatest worker possibly there’s ever been,” said the Game, his face covered in dried blood, in an interview. “To be able to come back after four years, and look like he never missed a day … ”
Michaels modestly disagreed.
“Oh gosh no. I’ve missed a day,” he said with a chuckle. “(I’ve missed) 365 days, times four. I’ve gotta tell you I’m so jumbled right now, it’s hard to accurately describe (what I thought of the match). I’m very happy with it – that I came out healthy, the people seemed to like it, everybody back here was pleased. I’m no longer the guy who comes out of the ring and says, ‘I can do better.’ I think that was just fine. I’m pleased with it.
“I’m happy to be healthy, but I don’t really know how it looked visually. I can’t comprehend that right now.”
Triple H was much more than pleased.
“I just had one of the greatest matches in my life,” he said. “I’m sure I’m going to be beat up tomorrow. But in the meantime there’s nothing like being able to go out in front of capacity, sold-out arena and do what we do. There’s nothing like it. For me to be in a role that is who I am (an antagonist), I was able to get what I haven’t been able to get now for about a year and a half, since May of 2001. It was a hell of a night. Win, lose or draw, I did what I said what I was going to do – put on the show of shows. Whether you love me or hate me, that’s what I do.”
During the interview, The Game wore a bandage that was at least six inches long across his forehead. He said it was too early to tell if he’d need stitches.
Michaels, meanwhile, said his back was becoming increasingly sore as his muscles tightened and the adrenaline wore off. And after the beating Triple H gave him after the match, he won’t be appearing on WWE television in the immediate future. He certainly won’t be wrestling any time soon, or possibly ever.
Because his wife, Rebecca, had never seen him wrestle, he flew her to the show tonight. And because it was such a big match, he also brought his mother and father. The three watched the match out in the audience, cheering when HBK took the offensive, chanting “HBK!” when the crowd did, literally jumping up and down with Michaels won. But Rebecca also shed a few tears when Michaels took the brunt of a high-impact maneuver; his mother covered her mouth with both hands.
Michaels jumped off the top rope to the ring-apron area, crashing through a table. He jumped off a ladder, dropping an elbow on The Game. He took several chair-shots. He was clobbered with a sledgehammer. In his first WWE match in four years, with a back that’s surgically fused, did Shawn take too many risks?
“Of course I’m concerned about (his health), but at the same time, I was working four years watching him do those things every night,” Nash said. “He took a couple of risks I wish he wouldn’t of tonight. But that’s Shawn, and there’s no way he’s going to go out there and not give it his all. Thank God he didn’t get hurt.”
Asked if he agreed with Nash that he may have taken too many risks, Michaels said, “That’s probably pretty accurate I guess. I still only know one way of doing this. My biggest concern was going out there and trying to do something too conservative and getting hurt. I don’t know if that makes any sense. But for me a lot of times if I start giving things too much thought, that’s when I get hurt.
“It was just that kind of match. Even if I’m not going to do much, I’m going to try to do something somewhat memorable. I don’t know what was that big of a risk. The splash through the table -- it’s not like the move is that tough. You just sort of fall off and fall through the table. It’s just the impact at the end. The impact at the end of all the moves hurts, so what are you going to do?”
Michaels said he doesn’t know about his future in the wrestling ring, and he won’t make any decisions for at least the next few days.
“I’ll see how I feel tomorrow. I have no idea how I’m gong to feel,” he said. “If I can’t get up and walk, yeah, you bet it is (my last match). If I feel good, I might be able … I’m sure it’s my last singles match. I just don’t think I can handle that on a regular basis.”
Although Triple H doesn’t know if he’ll ever have the opportunity, he’d love to have another match with Michaels. But he said he went into the match assuming he wouldn’t.
“I think we both went in with the mindset that this was a one-off for Shawn Michaels,” Triple H said. “You know, Shawn has a broken back. If you asked a doctor, he would tell you that Shawn is crazy for doing what he did tonight. Most people wouldn’t be walking if they were in Shawn’s position. We went out there with the mindset of, ‘Let’s shoot our wad, because we might not get another one. And if this is our only opportunity to live the dream with each other, we better make the most of it.’
“I can’t say this for sure because only the people that watched it can answer it, but I don’t think we disappointed anybody. I don’t think anybody who watches that match is going to say, ‘Damn it, I expected so much more from those guys.’ And if they do, kiss my ass.”

I read the latest Ross Report last night - apparently the Rock is going back to Hollywood until the beginning of next year - interestingly enough, in the words of JR, "in time for WrestleMania 19."
Now, I see a problem with this, and I think most anyone (even Rogue :p ;) ) would have to agree: There are many talented people who bust their butts for the WWE for well over two-thirds of the year, but are lucky if they even make the card of the coveted event. Yet the Rock can live the Hollywood high life for most of the year, then come back and headline a SmackDown or 2, the biggest show of the year, then maybe a few more shows, then off to Hollywood again? And do it again next year???

It's because the rock still is a big name and fans still more or less cheer about him.
If they pushes some of the other guys and not just Lesnar then the Rock wouldn't be able to come and go as he pleases. He'd have to fight for his spot since someone would be able to fill it.

Nah. Now that Brock is only on Smackdown, they needed a belt to wrestle for on Raw. Also, it'll set up some kind of (god help us!) unification match a couple or 3 pay-per-views down the road.

How can they unify a belt that was already unified?
Hank Scorpio
09-11-2002, 03:04 PM
Well, if they feel the need to have two belts for the heavy weights, then they should have another set to match all of the others. Two sets of tag-team champs, two hardcore champs, two lightweight. If they aren't consistant then they are just playing to people's egos.

Predictions
HHH vs RVD - The Game finally puts someone over (failed twice with Jericho this year. atleast the hell in the cell match). RVD wins, HHH starts feud with Bubba.
Brock vs Taker - Probably Taker's last main event title match, and he will lose.
Y2J vs Flair - Jericho should finally win a PPV match. Great to see he made RVD tap not HHH hitting RVD with the belt on RAW.
Bennoit vs Angle - Bennoit will win.
UnAmericans vs Kane, Bubba, Goldy, Booker T - UnAmericans will lose. Good to see Regal added to the group.
Billy & Chuck vs Jamal & Rosie - Steph will be invovled with some HLA.
Edge vs Eddie - Edge will win in another rematch.
Trish vs Molly - Molly retains.

Not a boring moment really. All the matches entertained and then some! The only bad part was how it ended. HHH telling everyone Kane killed some women?!! What the ****?!! Perfect TLC match and its ruined by that.
That was one hell of a TLC match. Why couldn't Helms be in the match? They're giving Kane a pretty big push but do you think he's going to win against HHH at No Mercy? Maybe in a rematch at Survivor Series.

Well I guess not everyone can't enjoy RAW.
Ever read the article about the forgetten TLC? Apparently it is the forgotten one. I still remember it, but back then Jericho and Bennoit you couldn't forget what they did.
Also there is apparently backstage heat against Christian and Jeff Hardy so they couldn't really win the titles (though their partners deserved) and Spike and Bubba well thats just a waste. Tommy Dreamer should've be in place of Spike.

NO MERCY Perdictions: Little build up for most matches, the TLC match was incredible but there wasn't even a tag match involving Kane and HHH.
Lesner (c) vs Taker - HELL IN A CELL: Lesner will take the bump but manage to win. If someone was going to defeat Lesner they wouldn't give it to Taker. Angle, Bennoit or Edge would get the honour.
HHH (Wc) vs Kane (Ic) - WINNER TAKES ALL: Kane telling his side of the story was just terrible. This whole Kane killed Katie Vick storyline was terrible and really ruined what could've been a much better feud. HHH walks away with the belt. Possible rematch next month. Sucks that the Intercontinental belt is going away, but this supports the US Championship belt returning theory.
RVD vs Ric Flair - Seeing how Ric cost RVD last month's pay per view mathc, RVD should win but then again Flair beat Jericho at SummerSlam.
Jericho / Christian (c) vs Booket T / Goldust WORLD TAG TITLES - Tough call since the Canucks just won the titles but evidently Christian has some backstage heat (i.e. Un-Americans done) but not as much as Test has. And also Booker T and Goldust lost at SummerSlam for the chance to wear the gold. I would like The King of the World and his buddy to keep the gold.
Edge / Rey Mysterio Jr. vs Angle / Bennoit WWE TAG TITLES - Edge and Rey. Angle and Bennoit make an excellent tag team but they should have another match against each other.
Victoria vs Trish (c) WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP - Trish wins, but the feud continues.
Dawn Marie vs Torrie - Torrie. It's that simple

Jamie Knoble retains when Nidia helps him
Kane vs HHH

WWE Tag Team Titles
Chris Benoit and Angle win after Edge taps to the ankle lock. A classic tag battle that went back and forth the whole match
Womens Championship
Trish wins and then gets her teeth kicked out by Victoria after
WWE Championship Hell in the Cell
Brock wins after the F5 in what was one hell of a War

I admit, he is pretty good. I just wish they would let him use the Vertabreaker, like he did in WCW. That was one of the greatest finishing moves in the business!
And, I wish they would push Booker T as a singles wrestler. He deserves some shots at the world title.
Kyle Katarn
11-12-2002, 06:18 PM
With that in mind, what are your thoughts on the winner of Survivor Series? My 2 cents for the moment..
I notice that Y2J is getting promoted a bit lately...Desire video (with brand new (and kick-ass) entrance music to boot...but then again so was Taker before he faced Brock in the Hell in a Cell last time, so I guess that proves nothing. I hope it is Jericho, as he is very entertaining.
HBK...It would be, as the Boomer Sooner said, a storybook finish. I think there is a strong possibilty that he may do it. I doubt seriously that he would keep the strap long, but if they put it on Hogan, I see no reason they wouldn't let HBK have one last moment in the sun.
Booker T: From what I read at WWE.com, he seems to have a rep for being a dependable worker. He has a fued with HHH that is starting to pick up. He was "the man" when WCW invaded the WWF. Call it instinct - for some reason, I'd put my money on him to walk away with the title this Sunday.
Or, WWE could listen to all the Testicles and book Test a win at the last minute! :p ;)
slinger
11-13-2002, 02:21 PM
Do you think HHH will finally put somebody over that deserves it? That will help their carreer?
He's lost to Angle, Hogan and HBK. He beat Angle the next night on RAW to earn his shot back so that's kinda of a wash. Then Hogan and HBK.
Y2J twice. RVD. Kane. Guys who need the win, the belt. He lost to Taker as well, but once again it doesn't matter what happens to him.
I see HBK winning the belt. Then a triple threat for the next PPV.
HBK - HHH - Y2J.

6 Man Elimination Chamber Match for the WC
HHH - Y2J - HBK - RVD - Booker T - Kane
I'm going to say HBK. If Hogan can comeback and win it from HHH, why not HBK. The question is will it come down to HBK and HHH? Probably. If HBK pins Booker T it won't be the best ending for Booker. Maybe Y2J could job. They could have a feud afterwords like I mentioned before, a triple threat for next month.
WWE Championship
Lesner - Show
Brock Lesner. Seeing how Vince didn't want Hogan to defeat Lesner, I don't see Lesner giving up the belt. IT should be a great match if both guys bring their A games. Battle of the giants.
Hardcore Rules Women's Champ
Trish - Victoria
Trish will pull of a win, but a rematch will have Victoria win.
Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Rey/Edge - Eddie/Chavo - Bennoit/Angle
Rey and Edge will still be the champs. If the chamber match sucks, this should be the match of the night. Great to see Smackdown offers a six man match that is worthy.
Tag Team Table Match
Dudleys/Jeff - 3 Minute Warning/Rico
3 Minute warning shall win. The last table PPV match was great, This one should do well as well. Hopefully Rico can move more into singles after this.
Cruiserweight Champ
Noble - Kidman
Kidman. Noble has held the belt for a long, long time.
Tag Team Match
Hurricane/Goldust - Storm/Regal
Well two teams that need a win. Well the newly formed Hurrican/Dust team need the win more, but I see Regal and Storm pulling out with the win.
Well SS 2002 looks like to be a great PPV. Possibly rivalling WM X-8 or Summerslam. Some matches needed more buildup, there should've been another heel in the Elimation chamber and shouldn't have just focused on HBK/HHH. HHH says he'll win, Y2J will do anything to win, HBK wants HHH to lose and maybe win the belt, Booker T just wants HHH to lose. What about RVD or Kane? Nothing from them. Chrisitan and Ric Flair wasted.

It would be great to see Bret Hart make an appearence at the end, seeing how its the 5th Anniversary of his famous exit. But he had a stroke and I don't think the relationship is that great. Its made improvements, but I think that would be the ultimate shocker.

Rewatching the last ten minutes now, Jericho just got eliminated. It was close, I mean HHH could've won the belt so many times but it was great to see HBK win!
And the Elimination Chamber, whoa the future of PPVs. And possibly end carreers faster than a Hell in a Cell. It was a great match even with the early absence of RVD. Jericho and HBK going through the chambers, rough times. HBK feel on his back countless times. RAW should be a must see tomorrow.
Big Show! Lesner is out for six weeks due to his injury so it wasn't really a suprise to see him lose. I thought Steiner would get involved but Heyman is the better choice. Great match too. And the F-5 was something else.
The Triple Threat tag match didn't live up to the hype, but was still good.
D-Von that was a great unexpected return. Probably will be part of the Big Show trade.

Big Show had to win since Lesner is taking six weeks off due to his injury. That match was the shortest of them all. Still, do you think it would help Angle's carreer more by having him defeat Lesner or the Big Show's? I can see a rematch at the Royal Rumble where Lesner wins, and Angle wins the Rumble.
I'm thinking Y2J will become the No.1 Contender tonight. HHH and RVD are questionable to appear tonight. Plus Y2J and HBK were very entertaining last night, and Y2J eliminated two wrestlers last night when Kane easily could've pinned Booker.

HHH spent the night in the hospital, due to the splash. RVD's knee hit H's neck. He was released this afternoon from the hospital. He had trouble breathing and talking last night.

Well, here's the lowdown on that: Christian ran to the ring, and hit Booker T in the back with a chair, however, Booker T kicked out.
The battle continued inside the ring, which resulted in Booker T getting thrown to the outside. Meanwhile, Christian was still outside on the ramp, when Big Poppa Pump ran down to the ring.
Big Poppa Pump gorilla pressed Christian(ala Ultimate Warrior style), and double-armed suplexed Jericho. RVD, who was laid out
by a bulldog on the outside, climed up to the top rope, and gave Jericho the 5-Star Frog Splash, and got the 1-2-3. Next week, it will be RVD vs. HBK, for the World Heavyweight Title.

Raw thoughs....
-Well, HBK's wardrobe is getting better! Cool kneepads....and I was overjoyed at seeing the boots for 2 reasons: 1: They're the type he always used to wear and 2: If he shelled out the dough for a snazzy pair of wrestling boots like that, he is in for the long haul!
-And the HBK/RVD backstage confrontation - as Farrooq would say..."DAYUM!" :D
-Jericho gets more entertaining each week...."Let's give the ladies of Charleston a dose of Vitamin C! You think it's FUNNY you assclown?! You're just jealous cause YOU don't have this body!"
-A cold chill went down my spine as HHH stood over HBK...for a sec, I though he would pick him up and they would hug (HBK would turn heel!)
-But I guess not - so a question to all the harcore smarts here: How, as the Rock would say - in the blue hell does HBK take those insane backbreakers on the chairs?! Unless the chairs are rigged, it looks like that would give ANYONE injured vertebrae!
--Surely SOMEONE here has actually been in an actual ring...maybe? I was wondering how much "give" they really have!
Finally, something else for the "How bad have YOU got it?"
-I was in the stockroom tonight. With me were seveal emplyees, including a BEAUTIFUL girl (with an almost Stacy-esque booty :D ) who was adjusting her underwear! :applaud: So where am I?
In the corner, chin in my hands, looking up at the second story (where we keep store supplies), using our 6 foot tall assitant manager as a giude to gauge how high up it was, and wondering if the 16-packs of Charmin TP we just got in would cushion me if I attempted a flying elbow from up there!

I priced a basic outfit (long trunks, boots(!), knee pads, elbow pads, and top) for myself...$397.00    Guess I'd have to be less modest and go for short trunks with no top!
Looks like if I ever pursue this, I'll have to borrow some Foley tricks - live in my car and survive on buy-one-get-one-free jars of peanut butter! :D Just do it Hardy style to start and then get some simple gear lol

They complained that I wasn't a wrestler last time! I offered to strip to my breifs and buy a pair of boots, but one coworker said "We don't wanna see you half naked!" :( :waa: :D

Well people hem and hawed about HHH/HBK for the belt, but now after Eric fine tuned the match I can't wait.
FALL ONE: Street Fight FALL TWO: Cage Match FALL THREE: Ladder Match
Of course it will go to the ladder match. But its questionable if HBK or HHH will win two matches. The way RAW ended and the way all three matches favour HBK I don't know.
And the Tag Titles Match looks to be great, I was almost right. Kane and Batista should've had some sort of match. I thought RVD would become Booker's partner, but its good to see Goldy and Booker.
The Show/Angle match should get some sort of stipulaton.
Paul Heyman's interview on OTR is tomorrow where he'll talk about pretty much everything. I'm going to have to tape it, since I'll be at work.

No I don't think so, since he's so close to becoming huge. He would have to do something really drastic like a Vandaminator on JR.

Reason I see a heel turn is after he beats HHH again which hopefully he does, who is left? RVD, Booker, and Jericho. You'd think RVD would get the nod, but face vs face feuds don't work that often

Triple Threat at Royal Rumble. HBK, Y2J, RVD. RVD pins Y2J wins the title. HBK enters the Royal Rumble at no.30.
RVD as a heel I would like to see if he was champ.

RVD couldn't make it as a heel. Heel's have to get over using mic work and RVD has none, plus as a heel RVD would have to get ride of all his moves that made the fans pop, and if you get ride of those spots RVD, well, doesn;t know any other moves to wrestle with...
Colorado Cajun
12-12-2002, 11:38 AM
plus he's way to laid back to be a heel and the fans love him too much. I want to see him and the King of the World feud over the Championship though. Toss Christian in here and there and you'd have a classic feud
MysteryStar
12-12-2002, 11:51 AM
yeah that would be a pretty good feud, Jericho/RVD/Christian, all three men can pull off some good matches/spots, we all know Christian can take a beating, but sadly Christian and Jericho would leave RVD behind in the mic department...
that would be a hot feud, even if they tossed in Booker T, they should have those 4 going after the RAW belt

Perdictions
HHH/HBK: Tough call. HHH wins fall one, HBK fall two, HHH wins fall three. I would like to see it only go to two falls and then have the ladder matcha rematch the next night on RAW. It is the 500th RAW so some match should cap off the night.
Show/Angle: Show wins, since Lesner screws Angle. Lesner/Show at RR, Angle wins RR.
Tag Title Match: Booker T and Goldy. Their time.
Benoit/Eddie: Benoit.
Women's Champ: Victoria retains, Jazz returns
A-Train/Edge: A-Train via screwjob
Kane/Batista: Batista via help from Ric
Torrie/Marie Footage: No nudity, still sexy something is up

Yeah like quick-fixes like the NWO... oh wait that didn't turn out... or Hulk Hogan's face run... Oh wait that didn't turn out. HBK is NOT that person.. why? His better days are far behind him... You know how Stone Cold became that person? They made him into a star when they needed one... Rock, same thing... Yeah Edge could also, but only if they take the time to make him into a star. Now on RAW all we have is HHH, His friend HBK (who suddenly gets a title reign) and a whole bunch of jobbers and lets not forget about Big Poppa Dump (who all of his matches have been complete garbage... after a couple of moves he blows up like the Ultimate Warrior)
They need to use their 'stars' better, but thats only if the writing staff does their job... like Heyman is on Smackdown. RAW doesn't need BIG stars to make people tune in each week... they need good wrestling, good storylines and less HHH 20min segments... Smackdown is getting the job done. Why? Wrestling comes first... Benoit, Angle and Eddie...

Can you say HBK Mark... He is the 'Has Been Kid' all of his better days are behind him... when he was champ he played a Nash and whould.. sorry... couldn't handle the increased workrate and didn't appear at Houseshows... Also he didn't draw for RAW (except that his second return from injury before Surivior Series)... when he came out as champion... ratings went down... If he's going to do something with his few matches left in his days in the WWE... get someone over... do your job. Jobb to Jericho, job to anyone you can... and thats the best he can do... but what I am thinking this is Shawn Michaels... if he's told to job he might just 'lose his smile' before the match.

Smackdown isn't perfect... Raw is complete and utter garbage... Smackdown emphasizes wrestling... Raw emphasizes 'Sports entertainment'. I guess the argument between the two have finally been aswered. Smackdown with Angle, Benoit, Eddie, Edge (Sometimes), Brock provide interesting matches and fresh situations... hell Heyman booked Big Show well for the first time in career since he was the giant in WCW. Higher ratings, made Matt Hardy into a excellent on-screen character.
H.L.A. is just an extended commercial break, thats all...
Raw? Steiner blows up in the ring, HHH seems to only work hard when his friend is in the ring... and when he loses he HAS to get his heat back... Always. RVD seemed to have been punished for Surivivor Series for the 5-star situation and he's been burried along with Jericho, Booker and Kane... whereas the only people that have been pushed is Cripple H (he's injuried again), HBK (who remains to see if he can have a good match without a gimick and job to Jericho... remember he has a history of not liking to job), and Steiner who droped an f-bomb in his debut and has blown up worse then the ultimate warrior in his matches... HBK, HHH and Steiner are short-term solutuions... they should focus on making stars out of those that have been buired and those they have in OVW (not go digging into the barrell for those past their prime).
Anyways didn't Shawn Michaels say that HBK is dead, but he still goes around dancing (stupidly I add), wearing the old HBK clothes and even coming out on the Titantron with the words HBK... sure.

I was a bit underwhelmed with Steiner....I never saw him in WCW, so my first impression is "walking steroid repository with a reputation to be seriously prone to injury."
I feel that religion and family life have changed Shawn for the better, at least if he is being honest in his interviews I have read, and I truly think he is. And he did say that HBK was dead....I guess the purpose of Flair and HHH mocking him the Monday before the PPV was to goad him into bringing "The Showstoppa" back. I've thought that maybe what he's done since SummerSlam has been like a "test run" to see just what his body can withstand since his injury. And apparently it can withstand a lot!
I, alas, never really got to see Shawn in his prime, I just had the legend of his exploits to go on. So from a new fan perspective, he puts on a great show, IMO. But I try to imagine what would happen, say if RVD broke his back and made a mini-comeback 4 years later. So I guess I can see where the "has been kid" attitude comes from, from you and several others. To me, he can deliver an exciting match, so that's enough for me.
But besides HBK, Raw has some other stuff going for it IMO...
Jericho and Christian.....these guys get more entertaining each week!
Mr. Monday Night, RVD! Though I agree it looks like he's being punished and dropping down the card more and more...
The Women's divison: Come on...you gotta love puppies! Trish vs Victoria is pretty interesting, and they have re-written the book on women's wrestling a time or 2 (remember the hardcore rules title match?) And Steven Richards in the mix too....I dunno, I just like the guy (I think I get a kick out of the fact that my boss has a crush on him! ;) ).
Raven: I want to see more from him, and looks like he may start a fued with Test...who, I gotta admit I cant decide if he has the most clever, or DUMBEST "gimmick" ever...
Jerry Lawler: He gets annoying when he gets wound up sometimes....(especially if he's horny at the same time!) But he's still entertaining in the ring. Especailly when he was fighting Richards to go home with the Ho's! :D
But to borrow pixi's sig, "That's just my opinion." We all enjoy it in different ways.

He's only had one normal match, the rest have been gimick matches... anyways he should just job and make way for new stars rather than taking up tv time to develop new stars. And as for his religion changing him... he participated in that laughable interview about Surivivor Series '97... that was the farthest from the truth.

There are DVDs and VHS of him in his 'prime'. As for RVD, I think he would be the one dishing out the injuriy rather than getting one. HBK can delever a spot-fest... but he's only been in the ring with people who are spotmachines... maybe a match with Jericho, Storm or regal might change my mine on his wrestling content.

As jobbers. Kinda sad when the women's matches are actually better than the main events... thankful WWE realized that Stacy nor Torrie (or Jackie Gayda) isn't what this division needs... I give you points on this! Stevie is basically just Victoria's lacky... and no real angle for him has been developed...

No for some reason I thought he was talking about RVD. RVD is going nowhere as a face. It would be difficult for him to be a heel, but I would think he would have a better chance getting the belt. RAW lacks top heels. Also some other stuff.
For the last three months I've always worked on Thursdays and sometimes would catch some SD! I read the spoilers. I can't work Mondays so I watch some RAW and sometimes Tough Enough III if I haven't seen any of the dozen replays on MTV.
The Royal Rumble situation needs to cleared up. Getting rid of almost every belt I think wasn't the right move. RAW has a chunk of former ECW guys and they unify the belt with the Euro? Then unify the Euro with the Intercontinental? Then unify the Inter with the World Heavy Weight (WCW). A new WWE like belt should've be created instead of the old WCW one. With the belts you've got No.1 Contenders match and possibly build up stories better by having two guys wrestle for a belt.
Brock Lesner seems to be the next one they're building. If they can build Lesner to the point he is now, in less than a year, the WWE can do it for a few others I would think.
Undertaker, Kevin Nash, possibly Hogan, Stone Cold, The Rock, possibly Ken Shamrock are returning in 2003.
RAW lacks a stable and I think Flair will bring one back real soon once Orton returns. nWO and Un-Americans failed. SD! has the Heyman family stable: Angle, Show, A-Train.
The Maven/Chris "Harvard"/Al Snow storyline really has been the only good one on RAW for the past while.
Wasn't Raven banned from RAW and is only on Heat?
I don't think the D-Lo Brown thing will work. Atleast they are trying. I don't see Booker T joining him so....
10th Anniversary of RAW, regardless if you think the show is ****, it will be the thing to watch.

RVD isn't going anywhere as a face because as soon as he gets puched up 1 notch... he gets squashed and burried 3X as much... they have him in the main even every 5 or so PPV (check the record, its true). They need to push him and keep on pushing him until he's over. They did this with The Rock and even did it with Brock Lesner... it works. They should put it to work.

There are 3 belts to each program... so in RAW case, there should only be 3 teirs in the program. Undercard... Tag Team and World Championship. Regal and Storm... they are excellent wrestlers that should be leading the tag situation with the Dudleys, and new teams like Raven and Dreamer, and other ECW guys that would work well togethe and with other ECW guys. The Undercard should be with wash ups and has beens like Jeff Hardy (who is running on fumes right now... he needs a break from the high spots), Spike Dudley, and the up and comers. Booker, Jericho, RVD, Steiner, HHH and Kane should be the main eventers... but right now its only HHH and Steiner and the rest are jobbers... there needs to be a need to make those rest into legitamite threats.
As fotr the RR situation. Basically I believe the winner will face the champion on their respected show @ WMIX, so if Lesner wins (which he will) he will face Angle at Wrestlemania (Which they are supposed to)... or if Booker won he would face HHH.. get it?

Dear god, I hope he never EVER comes back again. Austin... the leader of Raw needs to become a Heel again... Rock, should become a heel and should be making way for new stars because he has his god-awful movie career to stink up. Shamrock should come back... too bad he didn't get a title run back in '97... but alas Shawn and Vince had plans of there own.

Four Horsemen, once Orton returns... NWO didn't work because Hall was the only decent wrestler. Un-American's didn't work because WWE didn't have the balls to say what was needed (although they had no problem saying there were not Canadian War Heros on Raw years ago...)

You have to look at it from a business stand point guys. They push those who make them money. Rvd is over because I've seen it at multiple shows. It's just right now he's a floater.
Jericho and Christian are the best thing on Raw right now and imo should start feuding with HBK. They don't need to change anything because they are over as hell
The tag division needs to be built anf Booker and Goldie are a decent team to lead it for awhile. They are over, great in the ring, and they have excellent chemistry together. Toss in the Duds, Lance with Justin(regal may be a good wrestler but he just doesn't mesh well with a lot of the other styles), Jeff and Hurricane(would be the most over team in the WWE), # Minute Warning and a Flock team and you'd have a good tag division again.
The ladies are doing a nice job entertaining the peopl and if they toss back in Molly, Ivory and Lita they have incredible chances to make it much stronger
I love what they are doing with Test and Stacy. If they keep pushing him, he's finally going to be huge. Feuding him with Raven(who I feel needs a flock to be big) will be really fun to watch
Kane vs Flair's new stable is a good storyline as long as they don't make him job often
The main thing they need to do is hand the Title to someone new and let him run with it for around four months. Someone like RVD, Jericho, Test(I'm a huge Testicle so sue me), Kane especially if he turns back heel
those are my ideas and opinions on what could make Raw must watch again

Raven with a flock...it's really been done before. While it is a good idea I would rather he did it on his own or had one or two people that followed him around. Like he stuck to singles and he had a flock tag team, perhaps Kanyon and Sean O'Haire...those three would be a good team
The Test/Stacy thing is good but they are going to have to come up with something new or else it will get old pretty fast. Interesting to see what Raven has to do with it, since he showed up last RAW.
Jericho/Christian vs HBK... now if they let these three go at it on the mic, they would rip it up. This is a feud that needs to happen on RAW, even if it's just Jericho/HBK... This is the money feud for RAW, they just need to plant more seeds like they did last RAW
I think they really need to push Kane away from the Flair group. He already got beat by HHH, and Batista is really green and hasn't really put on a good match. Even if I like him. Batista is being pushed to fast becuase of his size. He's kinda sloppy in many places in matches and it does nothing to have a slooppy big guy cause he can hurt people.

Smackdown on the other hand needs more work than Raw now imo.
The first thing they need to do is kill this Al Wilson crap. I mean you'd think they could've gotten someone with a bit of personality and acting ability
Second stop pushing Show. I don't care what anyone says the man is a scrub. Hell he lost to Funaki like three months ago and now I'm meant to buy him as some unbeatable monster. Shah whatever
Kurt as the main heel champ is gold as long as they let him still be goofy often
They need another belt because Edge deserves to be the number 2 man on SD instead of having to wrestle Albert
Get more tag teams to make a strond division around Los Guerreros who are the best thing on SD right now imo
push the hell out of Matt Hardy version 1 and let him take Shannon along for the ride
Push Cena and Bling Bling strong in the tag division instead of against Rikishi
push the cruisers hard around Kidman, Shannon, Tajiri, Jamie and Guido, Funaki, Crash, Nova
Give Benoit a really strong three month feud
Give Steph another big name from the WCW to counter Steiner, someone like JJ
MysteryStar

with smackdown I agree somewhat more
they need stronger tag teams
they need to stop pushing the Big Show
they have the talent, like the crusisers and Matt and others that they don't push
They really need to continue the great feuds Benoit and Angle had along with Edge and Angle, honestly I would really like to see those three feud over the World belt.
They should have Edge and Angle feud alone first through, give Benoit another feud to get him over as a face and then have him join in with the main event feud as more of a face. It would give Benoit/Angle a break from each other so they can be somewhat fresh
and smackdown needs less work the raw to fix it, but then I am a smackdown fan while you are a raw fan

SD was my favorite ever since the split up until the last two months or so when they gave Show the instant push and did the Al Wilson crap. Now that take up a good 40 minutes every show and it just plain blows.
I would'nt mind seeing Edge vs Kurt for the strap, but they've done a lot of Edge vs Kurt and same with Benoit. That's why I don't mind Kurt vs Brock and then toss in Edge and it would be huge!!
I also feel that if they work on it for a few months Matt can be a title contender and be really over as a heel. I'd feud him with Benoit or Edge right now and elevate them both with strong matches and storyline

If they were to have the US Championship (new belt, not the old WCW one) on RAW and brought the Intercontinental Championship on Smackdown! that would help with the shows. A month's worth of matches leading up to the crowning the new champs say at No Way Out. Jericho and Edge or Booker T and Benoit or RVD and Big Show.
Heyman's Family could try to capture al the belts on SD!
With the older stars returning somebody's push will stop. The Rock as a heel vs. Edge, would help Edge out. Stone Cold will probably go to SD! That might split the fans, some will love that he's back and others will hate him for what he did. Him as a heel and Benoit to finish what they started would be good.
Undertaker should job to the younger talent and ride off after Wrestlemania XIX, keeping his perfect record at the event. Its questonable if Nash will return in time for WM. If Hogan does return I see it being shorter than his last run. Help a younger talent, have a match with Vince and then something else.
Originally they wanted an actor for Al Wilson, looks like that's what should've been done. When is this wedding that's happening. Then what? Few women on SD!
Yes, the tag team division needs work on Smackdown.

RVD is lukewarm... yeah there are big pops.. but can he draw? That remains to be seen. He needs proper charcter development (one only Heyman can do), he needs a manager (to do his talking) and a decent run of good matches.. also he needs to learn to stop being a spot machine.

They aren't really over... yeah they have some good promos and excellent matches, but they aren't taken that seriously. You have Jericho laying face down in the ring to the HBK... and Jericho has been a midcarder since he lost at WMX8... he needs to be dominate... and Christian and Jericho should win matches not via screwjobs... but because they are good wrestlers.

Booker should be in the top card... there is enough mid card talent to be in the tag team division. Goldust... should just do interviews because he's a Heat wrestler at best. Regal is an excellent wrestler and I believe he should be on Smackdown with the other mat-technitions. As for Hericane... he should drop the superhero gimick and go to smackdown (or have him stay on Raw) with Shannon Moore and they team together. Jeff Hardy is washed up right now... he looks like he's on drugs 99% of the times and needs a good year off. Just terrible in the ring.

Show was pushed because he was at the right time, at the right place, in the right situation. Brock needed someone to face just for a PPV... so Show was put in that position. Lesnar was going to beat him and move on, but Big SHow injuried Lesnar before the PPV... so Vince paniked and put the belt on Show to pass the time until Brock could come back. Thats the only reason why SHow was pushed... and I might add... if he was pushed like this from the get-go... he could have been something... now he NOTHING.

No, Kurt needs to be serious... because last time he was champ people didn't buy it. Heel or face. He needs to stop being goofy and buckle down. SCSA during the whole invasion angle was goofy, but in the ring... all buisness... he had no 'hit himself with a chair' spots or 'pantsing' spots.. makes them look stupid. Kurt needs to come across as dominate in teh ring!

Edge was supposed to face Matt V.1 (as Matt was supposed to be the one to injiure Mysterio)... this would have resulted in 2 good angles with Edge/Matt and Mysterio/Matt... but Vince wanted a big man (as he loves big men on PPVs) and put Albert in that spot. Edge doesn't need a belt... he just needs a couple high profile wins, a promo or 2 and he's ready for the top card.

Thing with Christian and Jericho is they are way over. I've been to three shows in a few months and they are over really big. They need people with personality in the fed and right now Jericho and Christian have the best characters around. If they feud them with HBK who is also now a main man and a legend; they will make Raw. They need to keep them as they are now, but have them win matches cleanly
Kurt doesn't need to be the serious heel because they already have so many of them. The thing that makes Kurt great is his goffy personality. He draws more heat than anyone right now. Plus people respect him because of his skill, not because they make him some bad ass. Show's a serious monster and not a soul respects his ass.
They need to stop making everyone the same serious, evil heel. It's getting tired. HHH, Batista, Kane, Brock, Stone Cold, Benoit all are close to the same character.
RVD can draw and he is one of the biggest sellers they have. He just needs the right storyline to work with. HHH isn't it and Steiner isn't either. Jericho vs RVD should be the match at Mania for the title
I left Rey out of the cruiser list because of his injury. Plus i want him to be a main title contender like he should be.
Regal's style doesn't mesh with most guys. That's why he has never gone anywhere. He is a technical brawler. He brings down the other talent. If you pay close attention and watch him work, you can tell that his style just doesn't mesh. He's better off as a commish or manager
Booker and Goldie make for good t.v. and people are into them. I for one love them because they keep me entertained and are fresh. They right now are good tag champs as were Jericho and Christian. The Dudleys have had too many title reigns, Lance and Regal just aren't there as a team.(Lance should be with Justin), 3 Minte Warning should've had a better gimmick. They were better and more over when they were the Island Boys.
Nothing about Lita is weak. When she actually got to wrestle she did things that the other women onlt dreamt of. Only when they made her a three move girl did her matches start to go down. That was the booking though, not her
Kane isn't even close to being green. He has put on some really good matches lately. He just needs to find his niche again. He is still one of the best talents they have.
Test has it all also if he'd only get a few strong feuds to let him show it. His match with Brock at the last Rumble was still one of the best I've seen in quite awhile
Benoit vs Angle is tired. It's like Rock vs HHH or Stone Cold. Even their matches are all the same as the last now if you watch closely. Back and forth for a bit, then Angle with multiple germans, then Benoit with multiple germans, ankle lock, counter to Benoit with crossface, then Angle with another anklelock, then Benoit with a german and diving headbutt. It's so repetitive. Granted still great but the same as always
They need Angle vs Brock because it will be a great feud of two of the best actual wrestlers to ever be in sports entertainment. They just better not make it like Stone Cold vs the McMahon regime which it is already starting to be exactly like

WWF always has something you would never thought you would see. I guess this makes up for the abuse he took from Austin and kissing Vince's ass.
The thing is, JR is always going on about how Regal uses the brass knucks, and then he ends up using them.
Where was HBK? I'm satisfied with the Royal Rumble format, even though I see Brock winning it should be hell of an event.

Its a known fact comedy gimicks don't draw... you can do the comedy in the lower card and in the promos... but when it is time for a match, its all about intensity and focus. I'm not for him acting like stone cold or something... but when it came for the match he was serious in the ring... same for Hart, same for Rock, same for Flair, same for any drawing champion. The made Y2J look stupid in the ring last year and it did nothing for him.

RVD can sell merch... but can he have people flock to the staduims, to watch tv... Hogan got big pops but after a few weeks as champion people got board. RVD needs to clean up his matches, get a good storyline and someone to speak for him... then after a while he will be in a position to draw.

Main title contender... the worst thing WCW did was take mysterio out of the cruiserweight division. Vince likes big men going for the title and Mysterio will likely be buired and plus him beating someone like the Big SHow or Lesnar would look ludicris. With Ultimo, Spanky, Chavo, Spike (he should be on Smackdown), Nobel, Hurricane (He should be on Smackdown) Shannon Moore, Tajiri and Funaki... you have a Division almost as good as WCW's cruiserweight division which was more important to WCW in its days.

Regal is a excellent wrestler, its just that he can't work with spot machines and poor ass wrestlers like an RVD, but put him in with Jericho, Christian, Storm, Benoit, Angle, Edge and if you are lucky Booker and you have an entertaining match. Yeah he could be a manager also, but it would be a waste of good wrestling.

3 Minute Warning would be good, if they weren't jobbing all the time. Booker should be in the title hunt... to leave him in the tag division would be a waste.
