Aside from the character being well-received in The Avengers, why has Marvel decided to move forward with a third Hulk film when the last two were tepid successes at best – and when Kevin Feige recently claimed they had no plans to do so?
Says Glitter:
“His sales are up in a major way. We repositioned him from where he was always misunderstood to now depicting him in a more heroic and aspirational manner.”
The Hulk 3, Incredible Hulk 2 (or whatever it’ll be called) may hit theaters in 2015, if all goes well.

I want a sequel to Hulk more then Captain America and Thor. But I might be alone on this... Which is okay

If they do a New Hulk movie id like to have Joss direct it and maybe we could get a strong She-Hulk in this. I think you could have a great series of Hulk films with Ruffalo and have his cousin in there some way.

Joss should not direct this he should stick with an Avengers sequel. Marvel should keep him for that and give him more money.
She Hulk is another horrible idea stick to one main character and his growth and development.

I mean why couldn't you do this have his cousin in the movie and at the end when Hulk needs help she changes. Maybe they have a Spin off Movie for her or she could appear again at the end of Avengers 2 to help her cousin.

Why you gonna have to have a female lead and it doesn't always have to be Betty. I am not even saying it have to be more then 5 minutes. Just saying she could be normal for most of the movie. But maybe your right but perhaps not. I am sure Marvel will want to involve She Hulk some day.

Kevin Feige recently claimed they had no plans to do so?
To be fair, Feige said that before the release of The Avengers, and the subsequent positive reaction to the Hulk. The TV show wasn't going to have Mark Ruffalo in it, which might not be a good idea under the prevailing circumstances. The Ruffalo Hulk is the one audiences have responded well to. To foist someone else on them at this point would be a mistake, IMO. If Marvel prefers to switch the project from TV to film, I'm sure Del Toro would be happy to oblige.
RedV, I suggest you not get your hopes up about Joss or She-Hulk when it comes to the future of Hulk in film. Joss does ensemble casts, which is why he was such a perfect fit for The Avengers. A Hulk solo franchise doesn't have enough characters working together as a team to warrant an ensemble cast, and shoehorning one into the story would be a mistake. If Joss does any other Marvel franchise, it will be one with an ensemble cast. It's his thing.
She-Hulk is a silly character whose origin is totally absurd. She was only invented in the first place to make sure that CBS wouldn't own the character if they decided to do a female Hulk in their TV series. Movie Bruce would never risk subjecting anyone else to becoming a hulk-like creature. If it were a choice between Jen bleeding to death or his blood, he would choose death. This is especially true in light of what happened to Blonski when he got some of Banner's blood. She-Hulk works well in the cartoon format. I expect her to show up in Hulk and the Agents of SMASH series whenever that finally comes out.

everyone has a clear idea about how banner becomes Hulk and whatnot so no need to tread familiar waters again. And as far as directors I say let someone like Matt Reeves. guy who did cloverfield, take a shot

Will people still care in 2015? There's a lot of hype right now, but 3 years from now might be a different story. Look at Batman. Dark Knight Rises has lost so much steam because of the Avengers. After a Billion dollar hit, Kevin Feige should storm into Disney's offices and demand a Hulk movie right now. It's wiser if they had a Hulk movie by 2014 at the latest.

I think Disney will insist they move there projects faster so can have an Avengers 2 before 2015. They could have had Cap and Thor in the same year as Iron Man 3. Just stick one in November.

Another Hulk movie is NOT a good idea, we have seen 2 and neither was very successful.
They had their chance with Hulk(2003) to make it a viable franchise, and they blew it. Now it's just going to become a "Oh great another Hulk movie". It's one thing if it was a huge hit like Spider-man,X-men or Batman, but it wasn't.
Honestly i think Hulk is best served as not a feature player, if anything it showed in Avengers that people really like to see Hulk, but not as the main protagonist.

It's already been decided that Iron Man 3 is coming out in May 2013, CA 2 April 2014 and i think Thor November of that same year.

Thor's release date is November 15, 2013. So far, "Captain America 2" is the only Marvel Studio's film scheduled for 2014. If they're really interested in a new Hulk movie, they should aim for 2014 instead of 2015.

I wouldn't mind a Shield movie but isn't that basically Cap 2. Since he kinda works for Fury more or less.

Nick Fury, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Maria Hill need their moment to shine too. PLUS, and this a big one, it would be the least expensive Marvel film ever made. An old-school, action-packed film with an August release would be glorious.

I don't know how 'on board' I am with this. I loved Hulk in The Avengers, but I feel like part of that had to do with the ensemble cast. I would definitely see a solo film, but I don't think it's necessary.

It could go either way. He was clearly under the watchful eye of SHIELD once he'd been found and awakened, but Steve appeared to be going his own way at the end of The Avengers. It appeared as though Cap hadn't left New York since he'd been thawed out, so it might be a good time for him to hit the road and see how the country has changed. While on walkabout, all of those baddies who thought he was dead until they saw him fighting aliens on CNN might decide they'd like to dissect him and get the Erskine formula out of his body. Don't need SHIELD for that sort of tale.

Actresses Who Could Play Betty Ross.
If they do make a new Hulk movie who should play Betty because you have to kinda have some connection to her character.
I have 3 i am sure people will not agree with but here is my idea of a good Betty Ross.
Famke Janssen

I have always liked her as an actress and she be a great Betty.
Elizabeth Banks.

Dye her hair black and she would be perfect as well.
Gemma Arterton

Ultimate Banner was once asked "What if it is not you who changes into the Hulk... But the Hulk who changes into you?"
People don't buy Hulk comics to read what Banner is going to do.. (that's what Archie comics are for). They buy Hulk comics to see what the Hulk is going to do. Every time I've seen Hulk do well in the almost 3 decades I've been reading comics, it's in stories where he is Hulk 80+% of the time.

ABC Still Wants to Do Hulk Series
With Marvel's The Avengers already having earned over $1 billion at theaters worldwide, ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee said today in a conference call (via the New York Daily News) that they are still hoping to bring The Hulk back to the small screen as well.
Lee mentioned that ABC is working to have the show ready for the 2013-2014 season. “We had hoped it would be ready this year, but that didn’t happen," said Lee. The project is being developed by Guillermo del Toro and David Eick for ABC Studios and Marvel TV.
He added that the show could air on ABC or another network. "Wherever it would work best," said Lee.
Regarding "AKA Jessica Jones," which was also in development at ABC Studios, Lee said it hasn't been picked up but is not dead yet. "Other projects are more toward the front of the queue now." "Twilight" franchise screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg was adapting the comic.

I don't know they just cannot make remakes for tv as good as the classics in movies or TV. I'd rather they not touch TIH

That's a bit worrying. If the program doesn't air on ABC, it won't have a large enough budget to pull the FX off properly. Even using the program that has already been created for the Hulk in The Avengers, it's still an expensive process to insert a CGI character into an all new scene.

Besides i doubt your gonna get Ruffalo for tv and thats what made the current Hulk work more then anything else. Now if Joss was behind the show i might be for it.

True... But honestly CGI has become less and less expensive in the last few years. Yes it won't look as good as a movie CGI character but just look at some of the CGI characters in some scifi shows. They look not too bad...

What TV show features a purely CGI recurring character every week? I'm unaware of any. Doctor Who sometimes uses a combination of practical FX for standing around talking shots, and brief CGI bits for action scenes with their alien of the week.

Star Trek Enterprise did for a while and so did Stargate Atlantis had recurring cgi characters. Really they didn't do much accept stand there and talk and go away again.
Battlestar Galactica had cylons the robot kind actually doing fighting and action scenes.
That was about what 4 years ago... I'll be surprised if the technology hasn't improved since...

Even if the technology is cheap enough, would they be able to do it quick enough to air an episode each week?

Those were not lead characters though. They were generic bad guys with little screen time.

If they didn't reboot wonder woman and i think thye won't the hulk. Superman was easier to do because it just worked. A Batman show could work great and likely the Green Arrow.
The Hulk is just a harder show to do i think.
