As silly as I think most theater marathons are, I think this is one of the few I would be willing to do if there was a location near me.

I would consider it if I had the time.

Even if this comes to my AMC, theres no way I'd have enough time to watch this. Pity.

Call in sick to work.

Well, without work, I can't afford to go anyway. Its a vicious cycle.

Good point.

I wish they were sticking with the timeline of when the movies were supposed to occur and not showing by order of release date.

Also, any word on whether or not they offer a fork and screen version of the marathon?

$40 for 5 movies is not a bad deal.

My butt can't handle twelve hours in a theatre seat.

There's breaks in-between.

This is definitely one nice advantage of using digital projectors nowadays. You can just bring in these movies' DVDs or Blu-Rays and watch them in the theater whenever. Playing them in order of their time line sounds like a good idea.

I would never be able to do it in a single day though. Even if I really enjoyed all those movies (and I don't), I would inevitably get antsy and bored.

Yeah, this is targeted at the nerdiest of fans.

Wow. This is doing a lot better than anyone expected. Then again, geeks tend to have more free time than everyone else.

I really want to go to this but I have a final that day.

It's quite the commitment to attend this marathon + The Avenger's midnight screening.

I've come across several other movie theater chains which are hosting Marvel Movie Marathons that Thursday. The Alamo Drafthouses and Starplex Cinemas.

My theater is going to be doing it as well now. Don't think we're showing all those movies though.

It's pointless if you're not showing all the movies.

We're not showing a Hulk movie, which is fine by me. The Incredible Hulk was awful, and Edward Norton isn't even going to be in the Avengers.

I guess if there's one movie to skip it would be that one.

Agreed

I enjoyed the hell out of all 5 films but not a chance I'd beable to put up with sitting in the theater (even with breaks included) for a total of 6 films
