I want the joyous, uplifting, heroic, awe inspiring, romantic, wonder and hope inducing adventure that was Richard Donners film! I my opinion Bryan Singer got alot of the feeling right, except he got to serious and tad too sad. Even though Nolan is good, he is just not the right person for Superman, same goes for Snyder, they're to damn dark!
I would truthfully be happier with Stephen Sommers.

I hope Superman isn't dark. A good mix would be appreciated. make the world dark and he has to inspire them.

I agree...but Metropolis dont have to be that dark like no Sin City stuff.
Just as long as he isn't the deadbeat father of an illegitimate kid I'll be okay.

He wasn't a deadbeat, he was gone for 5 years looking for other super people.

Then why'd he say he was going out for a pack of smokes before leaving?
