"Back in the USSR" - The Beatles
Im not bad-mouthing you at all (because i've come to realize your excellent taste in music) but what is it with this song??? I find it very obnoxious and consider it one of my least favorite beatles songs. I was just surprised that it was an "honoroble mention" song when there are so many other better (;)) beatles songs.

I just find it to be a great, fun song. Love the entire riff, the lyrics, the Beach Boys-esque backing vocals(fun little trivia: Mike Love of the Beach Boys inspired McCartney to write this song). It's one of the funner songs you'll find in the entire Beatles musical catalogue.

^didn't know the trivia bit...makes sense. I can see your "funner song" (;)) aspect arguement, but am still surprised that it is one of your favorites....

I hope the wink smilie wasn't a shot at use of the term "funner" - if you want to play that game, I think you meant argument. ;)

"Back in the USSR" is one of my favorites too, and one of my dad's, I think.

It's just a great sounding song and has some great guitar in it.

(I wouldn't put it in an all time Top 10 list, though ;))
