Hewre we can post amny work stories we may have from the past or we can post them after they happen so if something wacked out happens at work, you can say "Hey...atleast I can share my pain with others!"

I'd post some now, but I have to go!

I had a guy freak out at me when I was working at Best Buy. He wanted to open up tapes until he could find one that fit his recorder. When I told him that he would have to buy anything he opened he said, "I'm never shopping here again!" and left.

Oh, on a sad note. When I used to work at Software Etc. I used to serve Korey Stringer. He passed away this summer at the Vikings training camp.

I've never had anyone say they wouldn't shop at Toys R Us anymore, but some people have gotten pretty mad! At work, we have to ask EVERY customer at the register their telephone number with their area code. Many don't like that of course, and I've learned to live with the looks I get and complaints, but this one guys reaction was great! See many people decide not to give it out, and thats fine, but when i asked this one guy he goes "...JESUS CHRIST!!.....its 608-and so on" I thought for SURE he wouldnt give it to me :)

I had one just about one or two months ago....

I work in my school's kitchen, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday I'm in dishroom, which is the job I like. I hate working on Sunday because I have to work with this b*tch. I'm (actually I was)a food runner on Sunday morning. Every morning I have to get there and help her out cooking, I had put bacon stips on the hot pan, so she could put'em in the oven(I'm not allowed to touch the oven). When she took the cooked bacons out, I have to put them into the container. That's only part of my Sunday job.

One day she asked me to take out the one's that weren't well cooked, and put them into another container, then she left for a minute. All bacons in the hot pans are well cooked to me, but I knew she wouldn't agree. So I took out the ones that I was sure she wouldn't think they're cooked. When she came back, she looked at the cantainer for the "raw" bacons and said
"Hey, there're more uncooked bacons than what's in here!"
I told her the rest are cooked, and she said
"it wasn't your decision to make!" I was thinking if it wasn't my decision why did she leave it to me? So I asked
"Then how am I suppossed to know?"
She answered impatiently
"The COLOR!?!?"
I told her the color looked the same to me, and she said
"Well then you got bad eyes, go get them checked by a doctor!"

Usually when she yelled at me I just listen, because I felt it was something I should accept as part of my job, and she wasn't even my boss. But when she said that, I was SOOOO PISSED. I pictured myself smashing the hot pan on her head, but then quickly I realized in reality I was still standing there.

Work sucks. I work at Wally World and am constantly bombarded by nasty customers. There doesn't seem to be an end. And Until I get into the movies, I will be forever depressed.

When I worked in DisneyWorld I had a guest hit me. He was upset because I ran into him with the cart I was pushing. I had yelled "Excuse me" very loudly in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, but I dont think he cared. I tried to slow the cart down, but couldn't in time and I accidently hit him with it. I immediately started apologizing. All he did was yell at me and then punch me in the middle of my back. I had a bruise there for weeks. On the bright side, security threw him out of the park!! :)

Oh yeah I get all the drunks and everything. Some of it's hilarious though.

Like the guy who comes in to the lobby reeking of alchohol asks for cash for old Bus Transfers he found on the ground. When I tell him no his excuse is "I'm Croatian". Then a couple times he's just sat or lied down in the lobby and fallen asleep. Not surprisingly when I mentioned his name to the cops to come pick him up they knew who he was ;)

I work in the pet industry, and you would not believe the people that just lose it because they find out they actually have to take care of the animal they are buying!

YES! THAT PRETTY LITTLE FISH THAT YOU ARE STICKING IN A BOWL WITH A PLANT ON TOP ACTUALLY DOES HAVE TO BE FED EVERYDAY! NO..IT DOES NOT EAT ROOTS! of all the things! I have had people give me back the animal because they want something they dont have to maintain at all!

I think I need to form a pizza coupon hander-outer union!

I can only buy 2 DVDs a week and live a normal life on my income. It's depressing.

Heh this I didn't get paid for:

I was an RA last year and this was the room from hell. None of the girls got along in it. Then one night there was fight, and I got a two page letter slid under my door.....apparently it happen at 2 am.....explaining what happened. Took it to my hall director and then set up a room mediation. It was like pullign teeth to get these three girls to talk about what happened and when they did it was just to accuse the one girl who started the fight of something else. So made up a room agreement for them to sign so that would respect eachother space........which was never signed becasue they wouldn't answer their door when I came to talk to them. I left messages on the phone and and notes on there door but no luck. So finally I give the thing to one of the girl when I happen to see them walking by and said you all need to sign this asap and slip it under my door. Theeeeeeeeen I get a call from Jen (my hall director) who was in tears becasue one of the girl mothers ripped into her for not doing her job. She told her her daughter called home everynight terried of her other roommate and wanted to leave. Never came to me about her concern, never answer any of my messages. She moved out and the other girl mom wanted us to check on her weekly until school ended. Again called knocked on door, left messages on door and no dice. They claimed they never got the room agreement.
