Maxim's Perfect Bond Flick!

I was reading through a Maxim magazine, and I noticed that there was a section devoted to their ideas of what the new Bond movie should be.


Hugh Jackman as 007
Angelica Houston as the Villian
Charlize Theron as the love interest/BOND GIRLD

To me these ideas are fantastic, Houston would make an amazing Villian.
Also, just to add to the ideas, a theme by Franz Ferdinand or Radiohead.

Those are all wrong. The only one that might be believeable would be a dark-haired Charlize Theron as Vesper (I think Catherine Zeta-Jones would be a better choice), but I don't think Angelica Houston would make a very good Le Chiffre. I still don't think Hugh Jackman is the right choice for Bond. My choices right now, in order, would be Pierce Brosnan, Clive Owen, Julian McMahon, and then some unknown. All of those guys have said they're not going to do it, but I've learned not to believe anything when it comes to this stuff until it's been officially announced by the studio. A Franz Ferdinand or Radiohead theme song would be interesting to say the least.

I dont know why people like Hugh Jackmen so much? I personally dont think hes that great of an actor, and he definetly would be bad as Bond.

The whole Maxim thing was pre-casino royale announcement, they were being completely original and coming up with a whole other movie. I have no idea who those characters are that you are trying to match up.
