I read an article about this and it sounds really good. Is it issues or books? Has anyone read any of them?

anyway, it's a 7 part mini-series from DC written by novelist/lawyer/comic book writer Brad Meltzer

it's one of the best things on the stands right now and definitely the best miniseries right now. They're up to part 4, but you should be able to find all the issues. Issue 5 comes out October 20th.

Two words: Freakin' AWESOME!!!!

It got my cousin, who could give 3 pieces of monkey crap about comics mostly, hooked on this series.

One thing I like is that all the 'big guns' are there, but it's really a...well, I don't want to call them second stringers, but lesser known heros - it's their story mostly. I'm just now discovering Ollie Queen, the Green Arrow, and I love his narration of the story.

I don't think this will spoil anything...One of the selling points was that some heros have a shared, dark secret. And another was that it would kind of make early 'camp' stories relevant. I can garantee that the series delivers, and you WILL be shocked when you see HOW! :eek: :cool:

I just got 2 and 3 today, the store was out of 1, but i knew what happened in it pretty much anyway. I'm going to get one, i just have to wait.

The one thing i dont get though, is how come they can't kill villians? Why dont they just kill doctor light?

And I dunno.....I guess that killing is crossing the ultimate line. But what they DID do is pretty extreme itself!

I got the fourth issue, and i thought it was really meh, not too much happened although the ending was cool
