Who's Better? Thoughts?

Everyone has been comparing Kobe to MJ, ever since Kobe came in the league, but In my opinion, Jordan is the better player.

Yes Kobe has more rings then Jordan does when Jordan was 24.

But you could point out that Kobe has Shaq

But then you can counter that point by saying Jordan started winning when he had Pippen, I'm not making those points, I'm going beyond that and making this point.
What made Jordan great was THE JOURNEY.
Jordan earned his greatness. He struggled and learned. It was his will to win and to succeed, as well as his overwhelming desire to exceed people's expectations.

He struggled at first. Fell to Detroit numerous times. But he got up, learned from it, and became victorious.

He retired. Returned, but fell to the Magic.

Again, another lesson learned.

Came back, swept Shaq and the Magic. Another 3 rings.

Shaq and Kobe. No matter how many championships they win, they will never equal Michael's.

It is not how many stats you piled. It's how you did it.

Jordan is the best there is, was and ever will be.

Your thoughts?

Jordan. I think he is a phenom. not just because of his amazing success in the 90;s but because of his hardcore talent that hes had. I never really liked Kobe... not sure why, he just never really impressed me... then again Im not really that big of a b-ball player.

Yeah, I like Kobe alot i really do. But Jordan is why basketball is still here. He is amazing and just a great athlete all around. Personally i think Tracy Mcgrady is a better player than Kobe. But thats just my opinion.

also Michael Jordan would never let his team be down by 25 points in a series-deciding game. Never

Ummm...lets just put this to the rest.

Before the finals everyone was praishing Kobe and comparing him to Jordan, and in the Finals is when THE STAR SHOWS UP...

Kobe had his worst finals performance. Prince locked him DOWN! Jordan was his best in the Finals, and the BEST are at their Best in the finals and KOBE did not show up for one game. He hit one game tying shot and thats it.

Kobe is no where near Jordan nor will he ever be.

Jordan rarely scored under 30 points in the Finals and Kobe never scores 30 points in the finals.

And the arguement that Kobe has shaq did not work this year because shaq was horrible, and Kobe had no help so he should have taken control.

Point being...JORDAN...never make this arguement again

Jordan by far. But i still have a lot of respect for Kobe. Maybe its because i live by Cleveland but i hear a lot more comparison between Lebron James and Jordan, than Kobe and Jordan.

Jordan. there is no substitute.

the early and mid nineties were great. u had so many legends of the game. think the 1992 olympic dream team. the perfect team.
