Everyone has been comparing Kobe to MJ, ever since Kobe came in the league, but In my opinion, Jordan is the better player.
Yes Kobe has more rings then Jordan does when Jordan was 24.
But you could point out that Kobe has Shaq
But then you can counter that point by saying Jordan started winning when he had Pippen, I'm not making those points, I'm going beyond that and making this point.
What made Jordan great was THE JOURNEY.
Jordan earned his greatness. He struggled and learned. It was his will to win and to succeed, as well as his overwhelming desire to exceed people's expectations.
He struggled at first. Fell to Detroit numerous times. But he got up, learned from it, and became victorious.
He retired. Returned, but fell to the Magic.
Again, another lesson learned.
Came back, swept Shaq and the Magic. Another 3 rings.
Shaq and Kobe. No matter how many championships they win, they will never equal Michael's.
It is not how many stats you piled. It's how you did it.
Jordan is the best there is, was and ever will be.
Your thoughts?
