According to imdb.com (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0363226/releaseinfo) it's scheduled for limited release in the U.S. on June 4th.

I saw Zatoichi, too...I was really looking forward to it since I love samurai movies and the original films on which this is based.....I was pretty disappointed. Maybe if you go in without expectations you'll enjoy it, but it's not quite what I expected. I think if you like the sword fight in Kill Bill V1 you'll probably enjoy some of them here, though. I'll have a full review close to the movie's release.

Zatoichi is a great movie, I love Takeshis work.

Kill Bills sword fights are like kindergarten compared to these...

I just watched it and would give it 83%.
