i can't give an incredibly informed opinion on this(so i won't vote,) but he is ****ing incredible. two hat tricks in 8 days time. thats just insane.

I like him,he's an awesome player with Arsenal but rumour says that he'll join Real Madrid. If he does that I'll hate him for doing that.I hate teams like the lakers, yankees, real madrid who add all these top name playrs to their team. He's one of the best strikers but I think Andriy Shevchenko of AC milan is the #1 best

wait, where did you hear he is going to real?

Don't really remember,I think on the internet...Real is interested in acquiring one more top player.Either Henry or Van Nistelrooy

i heard rumors that beckham is going back to an english club, so they'd probably need a replacement midfielder, not a striker.
i can't see henry leaving highbury.

I think arsenal is a better team than real - so i dont see him moving either.

Henry is quite possibly the best stiker ever - better than pele though?

Henry is an excellent player, he might just be the best at the moment and there wont be many arguements there but as for the best player of all time I highly doubt it.

Pele, Diego Maradona, Marco van Basten, Johan Cruyff, Alfredo Di Stéfano, Lothar Mattaus, are a few of the greats and Henry doesn't even come close to some of them

The chances of Henry going to real are zilch. He says he is happy at highbury and cant wait until he can play for us in ashburton grove. I think he does match up to pele and the other greats and feel that after last night he definitely is the best striker the world has ever seen. sorry guys! Face it!

But are you giving an unbiased opinion because Henry plays for the team you support

He really is immense, but I don't think hes the best the world has ever seen.. Pele was better, Ronaldo when he used to be in immaculate form was better, so no he's not.

Henry just scored four goals last night a hat trick against liverpool and has scored nearly 40 goals this season in all compotitions. He has also scored 150 goals for arsenal in the best league in the world and this season in the league he has scored 29 so far. How can you say that ronaldo or even pele can do that well. Also look at all the stats last season he was the premierships best in assists amd then this season hes going to score over 30 goals. He takes free kicks corners penalties tackles unlike ronaldo and is the fastest player in the world. Hes 10 times faster than ronaldo. I don't think anyone can beat that. I amn't being biast and just saying this because he plays for arsenal and i credit pele for scoring over 1100 goals but come on he really is the best striker the world has ever seen. He does everything right!

Henry was good against Leeds but they let him play thay way, they defended so far up the field he had too much space, (this is coming from a Leeds), I still think he's the best by far at the moment but with the likes of Maradona and company i think he's got a bit to do.

Alan Shearer scored 5 goals in one game a few years back, does that make him the best striker ever? Of course not, Pele is the man and always will be

Ah but you see, I never said that he was a match for Henry, I didn't compare him to anyone. I simply said that he scored 5 goals in one game and he's also the Premierships all time top goal scorer, but that doesn't mean he was ever close to being the best striker in the world.

Shearer's a living legend, he's scored about twice as many goals as anyone else in the premiership (the best league in the world), anyway your all forgetting Tony Yeboah

how many goals does shearer have, and in how many seasons?
henry recently passed ian wright's arsenal scoring record(which was 186, i THINK. i'm not 100% positive) in 5 seasons with the club.

hmm. arsenal.com just put up a chart of the top arsenal scorers. henry took 38 games longer to collect 100 goals than wright did. but, he's on a much higher pace now.

Henry was an attacking midfielder when he came to Arsenal, Wenger moved him to the striker position.

Shearer has over 250 premiership goal i think, god knows how many goals he's scored in all competions.
