The Pacers  they should win cuz I hate Ricky Davis, what a muthaf!!!er

Nets. The knicks are good but not great

Pistons. With their two wallaces and rip they'll destroy the bucks

Heat. This is the hardest one to choose from,it can really go either way.I like the hornets, they have magloire, davis, brown, wesley and the always injured mashburn.Miami has a really kickass team this year.

Switzer

The west

I know the t-wolves will win but I like the nuggets more.

I want to see the Laker dynasty collapse. They've always been the jackass team IMO.WOO GO YAO!!!

The spurs have good players so they should win but I like memphis more.

Dallas has 5 players that can all score 20 points every game but the problem is they don't play the way they should be with the addition of Walker and Jamison.Nowitzky is a 7 footer but he isn't a rebounder.Thats their weakness.Yeah Kings will win...

Stowe22
04-16-2004, 04:11 PM
Dallas has no defense at all.

San Antonio and Detroit, San Antonio in 6, Duncan MVP.

The T-wolves should get out of the first round this year, but I think they need to lose a higher round series before they win it all. It is an awful lot to ask of a team to go from never winning even one series to suddenly winning everything.

I think it will be the T-wolves and San Antonio in the West, Garnett wins league MVP, then Duncan beats the crap out of the T-wolves and goes on to win teh champtionship and Finals MVP.

In the East, I'm torn between Indiana, Detroit, and New Jersey. So, I'll go with Detroit, simply for adding Wallace.... The East will still be trounced by San Antonio, however. 6 Games max.

The pistons is my pick, they are a great looking team. Plus, They got a great coach and I believe they could easily win it all

DavidGale
04-19-2004, 01:23 PM
Lakers should never of Barely won they are the team with the most experience and defense playing at home. They almost gave the rockets the 1st game. They should of blown the Rockets out if they're at home or win by more than they did.

Pistons v.s. Lakers
If not that Than I wouldn't mind seeing the Nuggets face the Pistons. Trust me if the Pistons play any team just like if they would play the Spurs they'd beat them simple because they are a special and good, well coached team and they have a better line-up and bench. the Nets in their would suck because they'd lose again so it's a waste to see them in the finals again . I'm not sure how the pacers would do. But the Pistons wouldn't be trounced by the Spurs they are the most dangerous team in the playoffs.

It might be the Lakers, but they have screwed up alot in the reg. season.. and so have the kings, loosing to the Wizards once and almost for a second time... Hey I also do think that KG deserves the MVP but thats a different topic

Well, other than Webber's off court problems...the Kings have had a really good season w/o C Webb.Yeah KG was awesome this year but Stojakovic will also be contending for the MVP.He's averaged like 25 PPG in the reg season and stepped up big time.

Yeah, I didn't really think most of these series were competitive. Dallas Needs to win to stay in it but it looks like the kings have taken all their confidence away. The only series that seems to be exciting is the Hornets-Heat series seems like it might go to seven because each team has held it's own on their home court.
I think Houston was injured because they would of started started him if he was ok. But I guess his injury was very serious. If the knicks had him in the line-up that would of been a good series and it wouldn't be over. Still I was suprised that the nets swept the knicks. Marbury and Hardaway were like nowhere in the series. The nets don't have the intimidating team but they have the experience.

The Lakers will beat the Spurs in 6. What is goin on in the NBA, they still have Miami and NO in the 1st round, yet they have started the second round with the Lakers and Spurs. Whats with that. The NBA has poorly scheduled the playoffs. I mean today the Lakers play today then wed...than the play sunday. wtf

05-11-2004, 10:45 AM
These teams are getting to much rest. These games in the playoffs have never had this much seperation each game to them. As for the Heat they are lucky but will probably lose their next game and be eliminated so it can be the pistons VS. Pacers in the east finals. As for the Lakers they just don't seem the same like they've had in year's past. Somebody needs to step up and be the defensive presence on that team or Parker is gonna run all over them.

Diablo

Last nights game Between the Wolves and the Kings was amazing. It was very fun to watch. I think if Bibby didn't foul out it might have been a different game. But who knows. Peja was rippin it up last night jeez. But i would like to see the Wolves win the series in 7.

DavidGale
05-12-2004, 10:31 AM
Yep The Playoffs and the season seem more and more boring in my view. Since Michaels departure it hasn't helped the NBA. But the last couple of years have been doing bad. My reason I'm not as excited is when they put NBA games on ABC for that dumb Arena Football on their for NBC. I just loved watching the NBA on NBC I have no idea why NBC did that. They had much more playoff games on NBC. I can't get most of them since they are on cable now and ABC hardly shows any that sucks and is unfair. NBC during the playoffs had triple-headers on Saturdays and Sundays and they had most of the N.B.A. playoff games on their. The commentators were funny and great, the games and the Intro music was unforgetable as way the themes to particular games. as well as Bob Costas doing the laker games and other playoff games. Now all the playoff games or on TNT and for what ever reason on ESPN.

DavidGale
05-14-2004, 10:17 AM
They are fortunate to have Derek Fisher on their team. The lakers didn't deserve to win but they did. But if they lost it then they would most likely lose the game they played at home in game #6.
I was so suprised that even without Duncan The spurs almost won the game. Lakers had to many turnovers I didn't recognize this team at all. All their fans can hope for is that they don't have a letdown at home.

stonefaced_1

the lakers are surely going to win this series in 6 games. im hoping for a showdown against the kings in the next series, just to make it interesting. if the wolves win the series against the kings then i think the lakers will sweep the wolves

The Lakers did it. I don't know why I was rooting for them, since I hate them (mabye b/c the announcers kept saying only 7 teams ever came back from 0-2) But today the Nets (soon to be my Brooklyn Nets) are going to finish off those Pistons, hopefully !!

LA is showing new life, and i am seeing them playing the pacers. Although to me it seems that the pistons would be the best team to bring down LA because of big ben and rasheed.

DavidGale
05-18-2004, 10:31 AM
I hope the Timberwolves and Pistons win their game sevens at home. They have good chances to. So I don't have to see the kings and the nets advance in the playoffs again. Neither team should be in their situation the Timberwolves played terrible on Sunday and could of won that game if they didn't lose their composure and stop playing defense. They are the better team and The kings are still not a good road team and it's going to be really loud in the timberwolves environment. I just don't see the big three and their bench letting the team and fans down.

Same thing for the pistons their the better team and they are the most complete team in the east that would make the NBA finals a very good series and not some other team like the nets, or pacers get knocked out in 4 or 5 games. Their the only team in the east that could win the NBA finals.

The pacers might have to face a game seven but won't lose either way because the heat haven't won on the road so far.

Diablo
05-22-2004, 11:13 AM

I doubt the kings would have gone to the finals with or without Webber. I hope they never make it to the finals as long as they have all those players they have on their team.
Now the lakers hopefully don't need Rush again because that was rediculous that they needed him to come to the rescue on the last game of the west finals.

Darko Milicic is going to be the first serbian player ever to win the championship ... although over 20 are playing in NBA... like Stojakovic (second best pointer in this NBA season...!!!), Divac, Jaric etc...

Actually, he'll be the youngest player EVER who has won the championship ...

In his first season, as second draft pic...

But he had not played a lot this season, actually just few minutes per game (if lucky!) because hes too young, not ready and has 3 great center in front of him (hes also center) so he has to learn and use his incredible talent ... Larry Brown is counting on him for the future... Hope he makes it...
