haha, i know, they do this sort of trickery all the time these days. Sometimes those voice over guys get REALLY stuck for anything good to say about a movie.

Yeah. That's just like when they advertise Ben Affleck as "Academy Award winner" to make him sound like a better actor.

Well I know what you mean- they use his writing award to make him sound like a better actor, even though the two are apples and oranges. But then I think, what would they do otherwise? Would they just not say "Academy Award winner Ben Affleck", and instead just say "Ben Affleck"? I mean, I think they might as well say the first one. For one thing, he did earn it and deserves the credit. Second, it's not like there's some idiot anywhere in America who would be like "Gigli? That looks like crap! Wait- it has an Academy Award winner in it? I am so there!"

If Ben wrote the script for a new movie, but not star in some crap movie. It's like an oxymoron if they imply its for acting.

Exactly, this has been going on for a while but it doesn't mean anything if it was nominated because it obviously didn't win anything

you know whats funny sometimes is when a movie gets no good reviews for a movie, they put these little quotes from one of the DVD and make it look like they liked the movie

on the ads for Little Nicky:
"Adam Sandlers best"-Roger Ebert

in Roger Eberts review of Little Nicky:
**1/2 "Considering what I've written about his movies, he could also be described as forgiving and tactful. What I cannot understand is why he has devoted his career to finding new kinds of obnoxious voices and the characters to go along with them."
