I made a thread about a month ago asking which is the best dvd player so today I got one to go with my tv and I ended up buying the toshiba sd-3950 I think the only problem I have is I can't convert it to 1080i it is on 480p is there a certain wire I need to buy to get it to 1080i I thought it had a hd receiver in it but am not totally sure I do not have a hd receiver nor is the tv hd ready I did get my x-box to 1080i by buying the hd pack. So I was wondering if I need a wire to get to 1080i here is the specs I have it hooked up with the component cables I think they are called they are green blue and red and I have the audio hooked up with the av? cables they are red and white

I have a Pioneer DV-656A DVD Player and the best I can get is 480p. If anyone knows how to get it to at 720p, I'd be thrilled. Although I have no complaints with 480p.

Pretty funny. Why does this all have to be so complicated?
