foreign film forum

i think there should be a foreign film forum, because nobody on a lot of the other posts have no idea what movies people are talking about when they mention a foreign film, plus it may cause curiosity for others which is always good publicity for foreign films.

I would love to see this happen, but there simply isn't enough interest to warrant a forum, unfortunately.

I believe we tried this before, didn't work. Foreign films can be discussed in the current forums.

I think if you have a foreign AND independent film forum together, it'll take off, especially with more and more indy films making it big... I'm tired of trying to have a conversation in the Coming Soon section about an upcoming smaller movie, or one that no one's heard about, and having it ignored until other people see it and then of course it takes off...

I don't think so, unfortunately. How many threads in General Movies are devoted to an indie/foreign? Not enough to justify an entire forum.

i think the reason there arent many is because nobody ever responds to them, look at the amount of people that have post saying they want an foreign/indie forum. i think it is very much justified, and if it sucks then take it off.

Don't get me wrong, I would love it if they did this, I just have a bad feeling that it won't go anywhere. Also, with this stuff in General Movies, there's the slight chance that some random guy will have seen the film in question and could comment, a guy who would never in his life go into a forum entired "Foreign/Independent Films".

No, It was productive, Just because it wasn't what you wanted to hear doesn't mean I have to leave, 5 people say it is a good idea, not nearly enough to warrant it's own forum.

And as Ty said, your own comment should be proof enough that there is no point.
