What do everyone think about a Calamity Jane Movie to be made?

I don't think no one hasn't seen a western movie on this mighty cowgirl name Jane who is very wacky.

Calamity Jane tells a story about an Indian scout Calamity Jane is as hard-riding, boastful, and handy with a gun as any; quite an overpowering personality. But the army lieutenant she favors doesn't really appreciate her finer qualities. One of Jane's boasts brings her to Chicago to recruit an actress for the Golden Garter stage. Arrived, the lady in question appears (at first) to be a more feminine rival for the favors of Jane's male friends...including her friendly enemy Wild Bill Hickock.

I think a Calamity Jane will be a good western movie have to do with a Cowgirl fighting off the Bad Guys by sundown.

Well since this thread is about cowgirls and such,I think either Winona Ryder or Lucy lawless should play Calamity jane....since Lucy has already played Xena,she seems to be a good actress for these kinda movies.

The real Calamity was homely. There have been a few movies either about, or with her in it. One of the best starrred Jane Alexander.....one of the hokiest starred Doris Day.
