I've selected the option that allows EMAIL NOTIFICATION when someone has replied to a topic that I've subscribed to, and I have yet to receive one.
I've received emails when people "PM" me, but that's it.
Any help would be appreciated.
All the best...

This happens to me sometimes, I dont know why it happens, sometimes I get an E-mail telling me it has been replied to, and when I get to the topic, there have been about 6 replies...Gets annoying...Luckily I dont use the feature much as I come here often, but if it was something I used often I would have bought it to the attention of the Mods/Admins by now.

I don't get ANY email notifications at all...
Based on what you were referring to, I would rather just get ONE email, and if six or seven people replied before I clicked on the EMAIL NOTIF. email, then that's fine.
That's better than getting 7 emails saying someone has replied to your topic...
But if that's the way it is, that's not the end of the world.

I believe it was turned off, and for good reason probably(their always is one!). Probably, let's say, your a high-ranking poster with a few thousand posts....let's use Rogue for example. She has about 20,000 posts and she posts daily. Imagine each time someone replies to a thread she's replied to, that's A LOT of E-mail.....see what I mean?

Yeah, but I don't get THAT involved in message boards. I might have a dozen topics I'm followin'...that's about it.
I just would rather have my email notif. workin', so I can following those topics easier.

I know, I was just using someone else as an example.....

Do you need to have a certain amount of posts in order to 'EARN' email notification?

i used to have email notification on Brock, but i'm in the same boat as Rogue. my mailbox was constantly full, and i ended up spending more time clearing out my inbox than i wanted too. so i turned it off. and i'm glad i did

I'm still not receiving email notifications...and no one seems to know why.
Don't the "bigwigs" with this site read this section?

Read what Malice said - if they were shut off, they're off. They can't be fixed.
