I'm looking for some good horror movies to watch. I haven't watched alot, but a decent amount. So, just suggest any horror movie old or recent. I would say none earlier then the 70's. Anyothers are fine with me. So suggest away.

Go see, at Blockbuster Videos, Terror Toons. It's not only discustingly gory, but its also funny. See it, you'll love it!

Rear Window isn't a horror movie, and neither is Vertigo.

Gonna reccomend all the classics here:

Jaws
The Shining
The Exorcist
Alien
Aliens
Psycho
The Silence of the Lambs
Rosemary's Baby
The Omen
The Others
The Ring
Halloween
Misery
Evil Dead trilogy
Romero's "Dead" trilogy

If you want to be picky, neither is Jaws, The Silence of the Lambs, or Misery

Really?!

Silence of the Lambs creeped me out, Jaws scared alot of people back in the day, and Misery, well, I just love it so much I include it on lots of lists. :)

Well, I think the FIRST jaws was considered horror, then the others were suspense, or thats how some places show them. But all of the Hannibal lector movies are thrillers.

All awesome movies that I would include on this of movies to see, but if Vertigo and Rear Window are denied then so should these movies.

But who cares the genre, they're awesome!

Horror is a very picky genre to catergorize. And I have noticed recently it's a subject that is very easy to argue about.

Imo, Some Thrillers like Misery and SOTL can be catergorized as "Horror Thrillers".

IMO,SUPERNATURAL,THRILLER, and SUSPENSE Films are all little Sub-categories of Horror as a whole Genre.
There are quite a few Horror sub categories but they are the most popular.

What it all comes down to is personal opinion. If you feel a suspense thriller film like Fatal Attraction is horror ,then it is.

Henry: Potrait of a Serial Killer

Has anyone seen this? The part were they massacre the whole family is prolly the one of the most disturbing moment in any movie.
