The band i was (technically still am but we never practice) in was OBSESSED with Tool... I didn't really hear enough of them to form an honest opinion but I liked The Grudge, Stinkfist, and tht song about California sinking into the ocean. The rest I really didn't care for, but maybe thats because I was being constanly bothered to learn them...
either way the talents there, but so far I don't think theyre the kind of thing I could really get into.

opiate the album/ep, although short and grungy, is a great ep by TOOL...cold and ugly is a great live recording of TOOL in their early days... and OPIATE the song is what started the road ahead for them...

Just a casual fan of Tool I am. I've always liked Sober and Parabola among others. Still haven't listened to their most recent effort yet. What was it again? 10,000 Days or years or something?
