It was always rumoured but Sarah Michelle Gellar doesn't want to play the character again so it just isn't gonna happen

Yea, I heard about that. Also, because the TV show is over I doubt there will ever be a Buffy movie. :(

That's a shame. I could've sworn I hear about a Buffy movie in the works after the end of the series. Or another rumor abot Giles having his own spin off?

Even though Scooby 1 did ok at the box-office, I think Scooby 2 is gonna tank like every other unwanted sequel. Just look at Tomb Raider 2 for proof.

A Buffy film wouldn't be bad if it was done right. Season Seven of the show, and especially the last episode set up for something else. I'd like to see it simply because I feel the show isn't finished.

Actually I read somewhere that Buffy is proabably the least likely person to come on this season of Angel...:(....But I think a Buffy movie would be pretty cool...I think I'd rather have a spin off though..Too bad Eliza wouldn't do one.

They dont know if they are actually gonna go through with making another movie. Sarah Michelle Gellar doesnt seem to want to resurrect her character of buffy summers.

I think they filmed the pilot episode and it just didn't work out for the show. Basically it was scrapped along with a few other ideas for potential spin offs so they could concentrate on making the new animated series, which has also gotten into some difficulties recently due to contractial agreements and **** like that.

I had reservations about The Ripper from the first time I heard about it...I just couldn't imagine it being very good....
