Tickets on the 22nd?

I'm getting a little concerned that ticket information hasn't gone up yet. Tickets almost always come out two weeks before the movie, in which case it'll be the 22nd. But I don't want to be waiting in the morning in the cold outside the IMax theater without knowing whether or not tickets will be sold :p. Anyone have any info?

oh, and furthermore, are theaters REALLY expected to open at 6AM for this? I mean, wouldn't most theaters think that a little much for one movie?

There won't be any problem getting tickets for this movie even if you waited till the day of probably.

But for IMAX, I can understand your concern. Most movie theatres with IMAX have online ordering systems. You could just get up in the morning and order them there.

I dont think they're gonna sell out like the LOTR Trilogy or anything though.

for people who went to see Matrix Reloaded in IMAX, was it jammed packed with people?

It was friigin busy. It was also sooooooooooo awesome!!!! in the begging it felt like i was actually in it, cuz the screen was sooooo big!!!!! GO AND SEE IT IN IMAX!! you will never want to see it at the regular movie theater again!

ok, to answer my own question: the IMax theater at Jordans Furniture in Natick MA will be selling tickets at 10 AM on the 22nd, and they WILL be doing the 9 AM showing even though they regularly open at 10. Assumptively this applies to all other IMax theaters.

Im gonna make a point of seeing it in the IMAX last. Just gonna see it in the regular theatres the first couple times, so it doesn't seem so crappy coming from IMAX, and then seeing it in the regular theatre.

I'm going to put a week or two in between the two viewings though so IMAX congestion can fade some.
