I loved the first but had massive issues with the second, so I'm pretty mixed on anticipating this one. There were just so many ruined moments in TTT that I'm not confident anything will be different in RotK.

yeah. if this should be posted anywhere, it would be the LOTR forum, and then in the Movies Coming Soon forum, but not current movies.

I worte this thread as a joke to make a point about ppl starting threads about films that arent even out yet and then when they are release ppl have to start posting their real thoughts on page 6 because the rest of the thread is taken up by ppls saying:

"Im going watchin this film in 2 days cool man i cant wait"

i think what you meant to say was.............."i didnt expect any abuse over my silly thread so i decided to pretend i was joking so no one would think i was being so silly and writing about a movie which isnt coming out for months in the current movies forum" then again thats just what i THINK you meant to say...........

why are people, who like the star wars movies, and the lotk movies always fightings. why don't fans of the two series think that anyone can be a fan of both?

ROTK will be the best damn film ever created! As of right now the first two are the best films ever created, but ROTK will reach a little higher I have no doubt, and the anticipation is killing me.

I agree. Its going to be great. I love the Star Wars movies as well, but if you look up stuff on both, the success of Lord of the Rings has surpassed that of Star Wars. I have seen many die hard Star Wars fans complaining about the direction episode II took. And you can see it in the box offices results. Episode II did worse than episode I whereas the Two Towers did better than the Fellowship. I am not bashin Star Wars because I love that as well, but before the SW fans attack lotr fans you gotta beat yourselves into shape first and stop them from complaining that there aren't any X-wings in the prequels lol.

you cant compare star wars and LOTR...one is a fantasy and the other is a sci-fi movie...moreover..they are interdependent...Star Wars took some ideas from Tolkien in the first place...so without tolkien's ideas there wont be star wars..but however..without the technology that started from star wars there wont be LOTR now..
