New Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater trailer.

www.GameTrailers.com has the new Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater trailer online. Should be quite easy to find, and it's avalible in most media's. The music is very 60's, and very James Bondish... Your thought's?

anything to do with Metal Gear SOlid 3 i like.. i just was dissapointed that it wasn't a new trailer... it was the same trailer shown at the ECTS but with better resolution.

It must be better than the MGS2!!! Running around in a circle while stupid story and no atmosphere is not what I have expected after playing the first one couple hunders of time!!!
It looks great but I hope they have made the gameplay better this time....
BTW, when does MGS3 happens?

MGS2 was a good game but not a good Metal Gear Game

Twin Snakes won't come to PS2 Its rights is owned by Nintendo.. and No clue when MGS3 happens.. i have a bunch of theories... u wanna hear um just ask me or pm me

It's deffinatly the 60's or 70's... I would say the 60's. I'm not sure, I know that it's been said but i can't remember which era out of the two it is. Go to GameSpot.com and run a search on M.G.S:3 S.E. and it will probably tell you. My theory is that the "Back to the beginning" theme is just to throw you off of the inside theme.
Imagine if you will; Metal Gear Solid being the past, Metal Gear Solid: 2 S.o.L being the present and Metal Gear Solid 3: S.E. being the future. In the Metal Gear Solid the inside theme was that "We shouldn't let our gene's rule us" ( past ), in Metal Gear Solid 2 S.o.L the inside theme was "What we give to the coming generation's" gene's-wise ( present ), so the logical inside theme for Metal Gear Solid: 3 S.E. would be "cloneing" ( future ) thus proveing the fact that the main character is Big Boss, and his first encounter with Metal Gear... And how Snake and Liquad were cloned from him in that era ( 60's / 70's the Cold War era ).
Just a theory, it would make sense because it would link all of the stories together without Metal Gear Solid: 3 S.E. being a proper sequel to Metal Gear Solid: 2 S.o.L.

Well the theory that came to my mind is based entirely on facts either givin in MGS2 itself or the MGS2 document and no matter what THESE ARE PROVEN FACTS!No one can deny any of this!!! These facts support the idea of a prequel to Sons of Liberty in between MGS1 and 2!..Clue#1=On the document If you watch the early trailers for MGS2 it was originally called MGS3 (fishy huh??)and later on Kojima was asked why MGS2 was originally called MGS3 he said he couldnt comment!!Clue#2=Olga talks with Solidus on the heliport by radio as Raiden listens in with a major clue to a past Solid Snake/Solidus Snake encounter.Olga says she seen a man hiding under a cardboard box.Solidus says"Where"Olga says"On the connecting bridge to Shells 1 and 2"and Solidus finishes with"IVE SEEN SOMEONE USE THAT BOX TRICK BEFORE!!" (Obvious hint people)Hint#3=When Solidus and Solid Snake see each other during the Harrier sequence they seem very familiar with the other.Solidus says"What a pleasant suprise brother"Snake says"Save it youre no brother of mine"and Solidus finishes with the obvious hint "DONT SAY YOUVE FORGOTTEN ME SNAKE! you play as big boss but are lead to believe you are playing as solid, the sixties that would mean that snake is wicked old! its called snake eater wich implies you are not snake. snake looks a lot like he did in mgs2 why would he look so old in mgs3 if it was so many years before mgs1 and 2? he looks about the same age in 3 that he did in 2, its not snake you are playing as! you will find something out that reveals something major, something that changes the way you look at mgs1 and 2. and then they will probably tie it back in it the end of the game. and this looks to be awesome, i cant wait, and just for the record i loved mgs2

Also there was a theory posted that you do play as Snake, but Solidus has built a complex, and given the soilders weapons of the 60's..(a time when soliders were appreciated)

But that wouldnt make any sence.

It is possible that you are playing as Big Boss. He looks just like Snake (well, Snake is a clone of Big Boss so no wonder), happens in 60-ies and it would explain MANY things and show how all have started. Kind of prequel.
I guess they are waiting for PS3 in 2005 to release MGS4 wich will happen after MGS2 (sounds like RE storyline) and answer some questions (like that mumbo-jumbo **** story in MGS2... who the **** came with some stupid plot like that??!!) while presenting some new cutting edge graphics!

Okay, here is the entire theory...

Remember the army of child soldiers Solidus raised.They could be this "Snake Army."Remember when Hideo said the 3 MGS storys will become 1.,and when Hideo was asked why MGS2 was originally called 3 he said he couldnt comment!!! Sounds fishy to me...Well if you watch document you can see MGS2 Sons of Liberty was originally called MGS3!!That means that there was an intended story in between MGS1 and 2.Snake Eater I feel is this story.This game is a prequel either taking place before MGS2 or after the tanker chapter of SOL!With Solidus Snake recreating OUTER HEAVEN in the role of Big Boss(Probably dressed just like Ol' Biggie) in Zanzibar and trying to recreate the tention of the Cold War using 60's era weapons and a time when soldiers were appreciated and desired.War tentions were high and Big Boss was in his prime.We all know Solidus was obsessed with Big Boss!!Remember back when during the Harrier battle when it is said by Solidus "What a pleasant suprise brother" Then Snake says "Save it your no brother of mine"then Solidus finishes with "Dont say youve forgotten me ,Snake!!"(This right here is proof that Snake and Solidus have met and faced one another before MGS2.,and Snake never knew Solidus even existed during or after MGS1 so they met between MGS1 and 2 in a separate story that i think is MGS3 Snake Eater..Ive had 2 different theories on this game and this one is the one that makes the most sence.,i had another one based in VR environments but this current one seems way better and fits the theme more.Its only a theory but what do ya think??And again its based on facts!!"
